This is really a smart thermostat and takes care of all the little details so that you are not left wondering if you are wasting money on heating or cooling. Detects when you're away and also when you change the temp more than once for a few days... Works with Google home or Alexa too. Great product

I'm very happy with our NEST thermostat. It takes a week to learn your habits and automatically builds a weekly schedule that is customizable. Before we had the NEST, it was common to forget to turn down the heat at night or during the day when we are at work but now, I hardly touch it. The remote monitoring through the app allows us to call for heat without having to come home. There is also a report generated that tracks the amount of heat/cooling called (in hours) so it's easy to see changes week-to-week. I would never go back to a regular thermostat. I've been spoiled.

Since installing the Nest I have seen a difference in my energy bill. Being able to control the Nest from my phone is amazing. I can have the place warm by the time I reach home from my phone.

This is our second home with the Nest thermostat- love that it learns our habits. Great to use when away from home and monitor the house.

We bought this to replace an older thermostat. We like that this one can be connected to WiFi and hooked up to our google nest we can operate this from just about anywhere using our phone or tablet. I love how I can just speak to my google nest and tell it to turn up or down . The only thing I don’t care for is the ECO mode, because I prefer to change the temperature when needed.

Love the look of this thermostat and the cash back from the electric company! Loved being able to set it on my phone from out of state.

Make sure your old thermostat is compatible with the nest thermostat on their website before purchase. The nest thermostat works great and was incredibly easy to setup. Love the app.

Of 4 original purchases, this was my second replacement. Problems with charging, problems with wireless connections. When it works it's excellent. The original battery also is not available; the ones on the internet are not the same. Battery replace is a nightmare, thin metal cover tears when you try to pull it off the sticky tape. The unit has a usb charge port on the back that can be used with a phone charger to charge the battery if you get a low battery warning. If the internet connection is lost it will seek an seek it till it pulls the battery down.

Very easy to install, very easy to set-up and love that you can control it from the app on your phone. We also love how it communicates with the Nest Protect, Nest cameras and other products.

Had this installed at the time of a HVAC replacement, so can’t comment on ease of installation, however have loved the ease of programming and use of the WiFi connectivity. I choose this model for the ability to use remote sensors, and the one in my living room ensures that the system is “reading” the area most used. The thermostat itself is in a room that tends to be the hottest, so it was never easy to make the rest of the rooms comfortable. Will not be using the “learning” features right now, and don’t know if the eco features will be of much use, but still very pleased with the thermostat. One thing I wish I had known was that the backer plate is white. I wish I had also chosen the white thermostat, I think it would have blended in better, but the stainless still looks fine. I was not able to get the remote sensor at Best Buy, had to secure it elsewhere.

I have had this for less than a month but it has worked excellent so far. It took a while to convince my wife to let me purchase this but with a rebate incentive from our local energy company I was able to seal the deal. It was relatively easy to setup and only too 2 weeks to determine our schedule. The motion sense if highly accurate and with the IFTTT app you can have it double as an alarm system telling you when there is motion in your house. The app is well designed but can only have one person login at once, which is a pain for a 2+ person household.

Easy install and web sit-up. My 2nd. Nest thermostat. One is 4 hrs. away in a rental condo. Works as advertised. Will consider additional NEST products. Works with Alexa also.

Love this Nest thermostat. Not sure if I am saving any money on energy, but it works very well and its handy to be able to change things from your phone. Just wish it worked with Apple MyHome
