We bought the thermostat to go along with our new Nest Secure security system and outdoor camera. Installation was fairly simple, it took longer to find the right fuse for the thermostat than it did to actually install it. Love that I can change the thermostat from my phone, but even better, within 2 weeks it had programmed itself to our everyday habits, so eco mode while away, and the house is comfortable by the time we get home. I definitely recommend the Nest system, its amazing, all in one app.

If you are looking for an intelligent Wifi Thermostat that works well with Google (or Amazon Echo) devices, The Google Nest Learning Thermostat is for you. In our home we have the Amazon Echo devices and although it takes extra steps to setup the end result is wonderful! Those who have the most problems with it haven't taken the time and effort to get it to do what they want. Its actually pretty intuitive!

I bought the refurbished one. It worked for a while but wouldn’t charge. Found out, you definitely need to connect the C wire for constant power. Got another one under warranty and bought a c wire transmitter that plugs into the wall. No issues since. ALSO another important fact. Buy room sensors!!! It will save you a headache with temperature control. Love the WiFi control feature though the google app.

Updated from an Ecobee thermostat. The Ecobee was excellent but became a bit outdated after a couple of years naturally. It would take at least 10-20 minutes to calibrate but with the Nest it starts up right away. Very easy to install and configure. The app works great while away from home. The display is excellent.

I purchased this to use in a rental home in Florida where i wanted to be able to manage and control somewhat the temperature settings. Easy to install and set up. I wish the sensors were all integrated where they cooled or heated other rooms based on an average like Ecobee does but you have to select each sensor if you want it to be primary. Overall, this will pay for itself in a year in savings from your electric company

We love our nest thermostat, after around a week of usage it can becomes a ‘set and forget’ system. Noticable savings on electricity bills since installing

Not only does it look great and easy to install it really is more efficient and I love being able to use Alexa with it, awesome product.

Decided on the Nest over the Ecobee because of the daily energy usage function that can be viewed without waiting a whole month. That is sort of ridiculous to have to wait a month for it to populate online. The Nest has around a 24 hour wait period so it can capture data but allows you to see how long the system was on for. I am happy with the decision and like the learning features of the thermostat. Easy to hook up within 10 minutes and we were ready to use. Lots of great features and easy menu system. Still working on finding the sweet spot with the green leaf but will keep working on it. Senses when we are away so it automatically puts the system in "away" modes and changed it to "home" when we arrive. Plus it works off the schedule you can customize. Very pleased with this and would recommend it!
