I call this an investment deliberately. The way the thermostat automatically picks up my presence and schedules the temperature with appropriate indicators for "eco mode" I am positive I will see an improvement in my energy bills. But even if that remained constant, the convenience of being able to adjust remotely and have it all at your fingertips is in itself money well spent! The energy company rebate for buying this just made the decision all the more easier, but highly recommended rebate or no rebate!

Very easy to install with the included equipment and wall plate. Wiring was super easy and I had it up and running in under 10 minutes. The learning function is working even better than I expected. I rarely have to change the temp I'm usually just checking the app for all of the interesting info. The rebate from my utility company makes it a better value than if you were paying full price.

Just installed so can’t speak to the energy savings benefits but installation was easy and it looks sharp on the wall.

The Nest thermostat is great! I love the elegant design, and gorgeous screen. It was super easy to install too.

I live in a two story house and my thermostat is located downstairs. It is such a great feature to be able to adjust the thermostat in bed through my iPhone instead of having to go downstairs to adjust it. I also love the fact that I can start the A/C on my way home in order to come home to a cool house. Another great thing about this thermostat is that both my power and gas company mailed me a rebate. I feel like this thermostat was well worth the price and I would recommend this to everyone.

Very smart indeed. This thermostat has great features. Looks very classy in my modern home.

Pros: Easy to use. Nest app works well and is the only way I have used to program/alter the schedule. Cons: Sometimes we just want it to run in a programmed mode like old thermostat instead of coming home to cold house. Concerned about battery life.

This was very easy to install. Wiring guides are available on website specific to your HVAC system. Works perfect so far.

This thermostat is great. With the learning feature and home away assist, I’m already seeing improved energy usage and a reduced electric bill. It’s also amazing to be able to change the temp on the phone and not have to walk to the thermostat. ;)

The nest works great and was easy to install. It has saved me energy. I like that it shows you the history of when the heat/air has run.

I've had the thermostat installed for a little over three weeks and it's working great. The only issue encountered was that my existing system has a lot more wires than were included in the installation instructions. In order to not damage the unit, I paid $99 for professional installation and couldn't be happier. Also, since my utility company offers $100 rebates, this was a great value!
