Great thermostat, however geek squad did a horrible job trying to install it my new thermostat. When disconnecting and uninstalling my old thermostat the technician crossed to wires that fried the main power source to my hvac system and blew a fuse. So the install wasn’t successful and the reinstall of my old thermostat was no longer working. I called the supervisor to the geek squad to have another technician come out the following day and he couldn’t determine what the issue was and tried to say I had rats in the Attic that chewed on lines hvac lines to thermostat, which I knew that was a lie because he didn’t go up there to check and I just rebuilt my house from the ground up. Called an actual hvac system company to see what was the problem and all the issues where from when the first geek squad tech came out and crossed the wires. Everything happened at the base of thermostat of failed installment of the my google nest thermostat. & I didn’t receive my Reimbursement for the install that did not & I had to come out of pocket $600+ to fix my hvac system that Best Buy geek squad messed up.. Horrible experience ever..

So glad we have this, not only does it look much more expensive, boujee, and gives richness vibes it’s so easy to use. I love it, smart technology and my light bills somehow is much more cheaper.

I know there are numerous reviews and I typically don't write when that is the case but this is the exception. I have been very pleased with the performance and savings I have realized through the nest monthly report as well as local power company rebates. Check with your local power company for potential savings/rebates for all your energy efficient/smart home purchases.

Great, Should have made the switch earlier. The device allows me to control the temperature from anywhere.

We have these thermostats in almost every room now. They are fairly easy to program, and I love that we can control the temperature over a week. It helps us to decrease the heat overnight during the winter. The learning feature is also helpful.

This is my 3rd nest - I won't buy any other smart thermostat since this one is easy to use and install. I had a hard time installing 1 since I have a dual system in the house. If anyone reads my review and needs help with the dual system feel free to email me. I'll tell you, finding what to do online was a nightmare and you will not figure it out unless you get lucky and a professional nest installer tells you what to do.

Nest thermostats will save you money by precisely keeping your home at the perfect temperature. The built in energy saving features will automatically keep your HVAC system off when you leave home. I would recommend using this with the Nest temperature sensors for rooms that you want to keep at a specific temperature at times.

Really awesome tech for your home, throw out the old date’s thermostat. Comes with everything to install on your own, plug and play with no hassle. Takes about 10 minutes to set up. Control everything from your phone. Great product.

I have had the Nest Thermostat 3rd Generation now for about a month and I love. I travel for work and always forget to either turn off my AC or raise the temperature before I leave. Now I can log into the Nest app and manage my AC from afar. I also love that I can raise the temp from my bed on a cold morning without even having to get out of bed. The auto away feature is pretty good in saving you money while your at work.

I got this thermostat to more easily control the temp changes between what I like and my wife likes. It makes this easier than going through the different menus the old thermostat required. What surprised me was the monthly usage report that showed how long the heat/cool was staying on. The air conditioner runs way more than I'd expected. I'll make up the cost of purchase for the Nest by getting my unit serviced.

Absolutely in love with this thing. It learns our habits/schedules and adjusts accordingly. At first I loved being able to access it with my phone, but now I literally forget it's there because it takes care of us and staying comfortable is effortless. Too soon to comment on savings,

Looks very attractive on the wall and very easy to use. Like all of Google's products the use from the nest app is amazing. I can change the temperature, set schedules and turn off the heat and AC all from my phone. In my opinion this is the best on the market just like their nest yale lock and cameras.
