This Thermostat is excellent. 3rd one Ive purchased. Recently sprung for the Gen 4 Thermostat and it is an instant regret. You can still operate this through the nest app, while the 4th gen forces you to use google home which is overly complicated. If you're debating this or 4th gen, don't waste the extra money for the visuals. Plus the rebates from RMP and DE make it even cheaper!

Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. I love that i can customize the temperature depending on the time of day, when I'm on vacation or if I just want to save some electricity. Would recommend if you want to modernize your home.

Let me start saying that this is how everything should be, easy to install, easy to program and perfect functioning, now I can make sure that my dogs are safe in the house when I’m away from home, I can control the a/c from any place that I am, and with the app flawlessly I’m in charge (finally), so this is the gadget that works for me!

If you like monitoring remotely from your smart phone then this is it. It also sync's through google alexa. I like being away for the weekend then start the A/C an hour before I head home.

Very good product. After the first week of learning my temperature preferences; the Nest was saving me money. Installation was super easy. Just one thing to note. It took 24 hours for the internal battery to charge for the WiFi feature. I was glad I did not have to hardwire my Nest to my furnace.

Works great. Easy to install. Love monitoring from away and turning heat on or off.

Best Thermostat Ever, One of the best purchases that has helped cut down on the electric bill and i no longer have to worry about if i turned the thermostat up or down before leaving. Able to control the temperature from anywhere i can connect to the internet. Will never live somewhere i don't have one of these.

This is my second Nest thermostat. These things are easy to install and very easy to use. I bought this one two years after my first so I had a good deal of time to work with it before expanding my collection. My only additional feature for this thermostat is that it communicate with other devices through Z-Wave protocol so it could be integrated into my alarm panel. Other than that it is awesome.

Excellent product my husband can turn on and off 100 miles away from home.

Works great so far including the access to the internet and installs in ten minutes.

Worked great for almost a year, then stopped holding a charge. Sending it back for a replacement with the manufacturer.

Accurate,easy to install,easy to adjust from your phone

This thermostat has been wonderful so far. After several frustrating fixes with our old, outdated thermostat, this has been the easiest thing to use. I love that we can check/adjust the thermostat with our phones while we are away. No more worries about whether or not we turned off the a/c. It learned our weekly schedule pretty quick and I rarely adjust it. We are super happy with this purchase.

I initially bought an Ecobee and after spending hours trying to install it I went and got the Nest. I am so glad that I did! Took maybe 10 minutes to install and had no issues getting this thing working. I love being able to adjust the temp through my phone and having a set schedule. I would recommend the Nest to anyone who is looking for a smart thermostat for their home.
