Setup was easy and works as expected! After using for a month, I’ve already found multiple situations in which I’ve saved money on my gas usage.

Nice design and east to install and program. Being able to control and monitor it remotely with a smartphone is great!

I am really interested to see how our energy bills change over the next year. The Nest is incredibly easy to use and install. I don’t see why everyone doesn’t have one.

I installed it 3 weeks ago with Alexa and it works very well and I love it, the only thing I found was that if you program the thermometer at a temperature and then you want to increase the temperature it returns to the temperature you programmed without touching anything but in what others I love

This is the third home that we have purchased Nest thermostats for. I believe they are the best on the market. The Nest App is great as it is highly-intuitive. I'm glad that Google hasn't completely transitioned to the Google Home app. You can generally get rebates from your power company for the purchase as well as programs that regulate peak power days.

This new Nest was easy to setup, and it's easy to control with the app. It even learns so that it knows my schedule and saves me money by turning down the heat when I'm not at home during the day.

Makes controlling two zones simple and easy. The heat/cool mode and the learning schedule and the home away mode come together to make controlling temperature smart and easy.

The thermostat was easily installed and began operation. It is being used as a second zone controller and is performing that function well.

Bought this to replace an older Nest and got the black finish to match the rest of the hardware in the house. Works well and looks great.

Tried this, wanted to love it, but it just didn't work for us. Could not get it to work with my home. AC would work but heat would not. Spent nearly 2 hours on the phone with Google support troubleshooting with no success. Install was simple, and it looked great on the wall. Ability to adjust it remotely via phone was nice too, but without it being able to do its core function it was of no use. Reverted back to the old school thermostat and was back to working order.

Installation was super easy. Needed assistance with wiring and Nest customer service was very helpful, even at 10pm. I have actually seen a decrease in my bill since installing this thermostat.

Wanted to install a smart thermostat and went with the nest. Cost a little more, but works great and has saved us some money.

Bought when Comed and Nicor had rebates running, bought for 50 dollars, couldn't pass up, glade I didnt. Can see usage via online, phone app control. Very easy to use and self explanatory.

I've had the nest for almost a week and wish that I would have purchased one years ago. It took me only 30 minutes to install the unit. Works flawlessly with Nest app on Android OS.

The Nest is an easy home automation starting point. Installation is easy - it's more or less "unplug old thermostat, reattach wires" (and is guided for the multiple wiring schemes people may have). It then becomes one of the best designed thermostats (admittedly a low bar). Chief benefits: easier scheduling of heat/cold; "learning" of schedules; plug-in into energy companies' power saving plans (surge schedules) which can provide monetary benefits. The Nest is not perfect - the user interface strips down interactions to "click" or "dial left/right" (it could really use a "back out" button ala the Home button), but it's leagues beyond what most people have slapped onto their walls.
