I installed generation 3 a few weeks ago. It is working great and is a refinement over generation 1. If you get this device make sure you take advantage of the energy savings discounts.

Very easy installation and setup on wifi network. I love being able to adjust the temperature with my mobile device and Echo. I also like how it displays temperature when you walk by.

Talk about convenience. Nest is easy to install, just follow their instructions at the Nest website. It pays for itself with the savings it brings. Great product!

Great product, though certainly overpriced for what it is. Installation would have been easier had I not had any Nest devices, as the assisted install kept failing. Otherwise, unit looks great. If it wasn't so expensive it would get 5 stars.

Also purchased installation services by Best Buy. Easy to operate. Should be more precise than my previous thermostat.

I installed this product in my new house before having much understanding of my heating and air conditioning bill before use. I ran into a bit of an issue with the auto away feature, as it ended up being unable to maintain the set temperature for days. After turning the feature off, it has worked flawlessly. Highly recommended.

This smart thermostat is useful and connect on my hallway and it the best product that I own.

I have one and I love it so I recently bought one for my parents. Helps reduce electric bill, I can control the temp with my phone or through google home. It’s awesome!!

Great product to save on your electric bill. If having a lower bill is important to you, then you should invest in this product. User friendly!!!

I don’t even have to leave the couch to adjust the thermostat. I can even turn the A/C down from the airport when we get home from a trip. Very convenient.

After installing our first Nest, I bought this for our 2nd thermostat upstairs. These smartly adjust the temperature in the house based on our activities and help keep our energy bill lower.

The Nest does what it says and regulates heat and cold in our house. Love that it can switch between heat and cool by itself. Bought it as a surprise for my husband and he has loved playing with it.

This thermostat is amazing. I keep my house at 67 and I'm glad that temperature is a energy efficient temperature. Connected to Google home and can control from there or phone app.

While the Nest does it's job, there's a lot you have to do if you don't want it to "learn". Once that's done you can set preferred temps at various times during the day and it will stick to that. If you want to use the external sensor, you're limited. You cannot specify specific times that you want the sensor to be active, only generic preset times. I have an ecobee that I brought from my old place and I much preferred the way the system worked but the hardware doesn't work properly with my current hvac and recent software has made it slightly less user friendly as they incorporate their other products and subscriptions. Lastly, I use homekit which ecobee supports but Nest doesn't There are workarounds but they're not the most elegant or stable.

Had to replace the generation 1 nest thermostat because we had issues with wifi connectivity. This one works great now. Gen 1 lasted from 2013 til now.

I love our Nest Learning Thermometer! It is easy to install and use! We have had some complicated thermostats before and I couldn’t use it correctly!

This sleek little gadget has changed my life. Love being able to turn the heat on remotely before I get out of bed on a chilly morning.

I originally bought this to try and save money on my electric bill because of the smart features. Personally I usually keep the temperatures pretty low and my bills are never too crazy. However when I bought it and set it up I just forgot about it and my bill hasn't dropped that much but I do love it. Although my bill only went down ~10$ a month I can turn on the a/c or heater from my bed. I can turn it off if i left it on once I leave the house and after a long day if i want to come home to a hot or cold house i can do that and that feeling is priceless.

So easy to use and the installation was painless. I'm lazy and can now turn the ac/heat on from the couch!

I live this product and would definitely purchase it again and recommend kt to a friend!
