The Nest was so easy to install and is very user friendly. I like the flexibility of programming and look forward to it "learning" our schedule!

This is my second Nest thermostat. When we moved into a new house, the first thing I did was replace the thermostat with Nests.

Great thermostat, near wi fi control feature and that allows you full control of your thermostat. Wherever you may be.

Own this since black friday. So far the routine are good but if you change your routine. the thermostat have to be adjust by you. For example it use cell phone to track your location. So when we take off, it will go to eco mode but when you arrive it didn't start warming up the house until you inside the house. sometimes you inside the house, it will not worm up in the morning until you walk fast the thermostat or stay at eco mode. If you have the day off and it doesn't know you are home i'm in different room. So far we just let it learn and learn and learn. Did we program it wrong? We feel that honeywell t6 works better and track us better, warm the house before we arrive home, give us monthly track of electric usage.

I live in a 3 story home and prayed that something like this will be invented so I do not need to be going up and down to control my temperature.

I didn’t see my self spending $250 for a thermostat but this really helps on my light bill. Smart enough and very appealing looking.

I installed the device two weeks ago. Install was easy. Setup/configuration was simple. Software is great. I'd recommend the device to anyone.

Love these things. I love the nest ecosystem. When paired with the Nest protect and nest cameras. In the event of a fire the Nest protects will sound the alarm also alerting you of where the danger is, simultaneously the Nest thermostat will turn off. You don't want to add air into a fire spread smoke into other parts of the home. In the instance of all that happening all of your best cameras will also start recording one even clip.

It was clear after the first few days that the Nest was keeping track of my temperature preferences and applying them automatically. The "learning" feature claim is true, as is the potential to save money on heating/cooling throughout the year. I also love the summaries provided on how long heating/cooling was used throughout the day. I should add that I put this in a new home and did not have WIFI set up for the first few weeks. Not a problem - the Nest did not require WIFI to provide all the features I noted above. Once you get WIFI and load the app - even more impressive! The only reason I did not give this a full 5 stars is that the user manual was a little light on how to change the settings as the Nest was learning and applying changes. This could be because I did not have the app loaded at the time I started using Nest - not sure.
