I like the feature where it tracks the usage and "learns" to adjust accordingly. It integrates with other home automation devices so that you can keep track of them, and write custom IFTTT codes.

I followed the app for the wiring process. I had an ac guy come by for a different issue and he said the wires were in the wrong places. He fixed the wires and other issue. The best is running great!

This will require for you to run an additional wire to power the unit. If you dont, the unit will not last the night on a full charge. Once it runs out to battery, the AC turns off and you will have to disconnect the unit and charge it using a USB. Hey Google.. simple fix... create an adapter to be placed between the thermostat and the base that will allow batteries to be installed, or update the unit so that batteries can be installed.

Nest thermostats get its power from your HVAC system’s wiring. There are cases where these wires can't deliver enough power to support the Nest thermostat's features, then they start draining the batteries and disconnect from your Wifi network. In such cases, installing a common(C) wire between your HVAC and Nest thermostats can resolve the battery drain problem. Contacting a Nest Pro technician to check your wiring and install a common (C) wire is recommended.

Sometimes it goes to eco mode which I do not mind if it is summer but when is winter, I want it warmer.
