Great Thermostat

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent thermostat with remote access via cell phone app. The only glitch was figuring out how to get the app to communicate with the thermostat which took a google look-up when it didn't happen automatically.

Solid Product - But Expensive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We realized after purchasing the Nest Learning Thermostat (3rd Generation) that we did not need a thermostat to learn about our temperature preferences. Mainly what we wanted in a WiFi thermostat was the ability to monitor our home’s temperature when we’re not at home and control the thermostat remotely - like from an upstairs bedroom or when traveling. We found that we could accomplish everything we needed a thermostat to do with a much less expensive device. So, we bought a Honeywell 7-day programmable WIFi thermostat for about one-third the cost of this Nest product.

I can control the heating and cooling from anywhere in the world which is a major advantage in itself. With a standard dumb thermostat, you’re limited to schedules and you can’t make real time updates except when you’re back home
