The Nest is a great thermostat. Easy to install and memorizes your patterns. Definitely recommend.

I have a heat pump and LP furnace. I could not get any other smart thermostats to work. However, this one does. My system is 15 years old, so I had to do some research, but there is plenty of information out there to assist. If you have dual fuel system, do not attempt this if you are a novice or non-technical. This is not plug and play for dual fuel.

Pretty much works as expected still haven't had it long enough to reap the benefits of the learning portion but I like that I can have it off all day than turn it on from my phone on my way home .

I have been using this for a few years now and love it. I just bought another for a new house we will be moving into. Only thing I wish they would add, is the ability to set the temperature and it automatically switch between heat and cool. Getting the temperature right in months of transition from summer to winter where it is freezing at night, waking up with the house being 65 and then in the afternoon it gets into the 70s outside. Schedules help with this a little as long as you remember to switch from heat to cool or vice versa.

Excellent thermostat with remote access via cell phone app. The only glitch was figuring out how to get the app to communicate with the thermostat which took a google look-up when it didn't happen automatically.

I was concerned the Nest might not be compatible with my 100 year old hot water / radiator heating system, not to mention that there are only two wires leading to the thermostat. A friend has the same configuration, and he told me not to worry. Well - it works! Our central AC system has a separate thermostat in another part of the house. It would be nice if Nest would develop a wireless connection so one thermostat could operate both systems.

i save 20% for mu gas bill . turn on and off from my phone . schedule the temp . really worth the money

This is a great option if you need to control your a.c. system remotely.

Hook up was easy. But, for the first week it kept dropping offline because the battery was not charging. Never found the reason. Been working like a charm now. Easy to use, setup was simple.

I love being able to adjust the temp before i get home. I love coming home to a warm house.
