Switched everything over to the new one that I purchased in store no problem. Go new unless you can afford possibility of several returns.

Awesome learning thermostat
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love that I don't have to worry about if I forgot to change the thermostat when I leave home, it knows by my phones location that I am not home. It automatically then sets it to Eco mode to save money. As soon as I arrive back in my garage, it senses my phones wifi signal, and it automatically turns on and starts cooling. Love also that every time we walk by it, the screen lights up to show you th current state.

Thermostat Does Help Lower One’s Electric Bill

Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After installing the Nest thermostat in the spring, I saw a sharp (and pleasant) decrease in the cooling cost portion of my electric usage this past summer. We also maintained our targeted level of cooling comfort as well. My recommendation is that one should utilize the advanced features of the thermostat and let it do the work so you can recoup the savings.
