Great thermostat - needs a schedule/time feature to set temps. It tries to learn, does a good job, but if not monitored, it seems to just do what it wants at times.

Severely misses an instruction book. I guess in this day and age of high tech we are supposed to use excessive amounts of time trying to figure things out, as Apple does with the iphone, and still have no idea of all its features and what they can do. Still haven't figured out how to set it in advance to change the temp while sleeping. Apparently you have to get up in the middle of the night and turn it down so that after doing that for awhile it will know to do it itself.

Very simple setup. Well worth the money. Could be much happier with Nest!

Awesome thermostat, however despite messing with the settings it loves to set itself to random temperatures as soon as the room is still.

The thermometer makes a home a smart home and energy efficient.

This is my second go around with Nest Thermostats. I installed a 2nd gen unit at our old house and now (2) 3rd gens in our new house. Easy directions and everything you need to do the job, even a screwdriver is provided.

Love being able to keep the heat low but warm up the place from the app so it’s not freezing when I arrive

we got 4 NEST Learning thermostats and we could not be happier with our choice. It was pricey but i can see already the benefits in being able to remotely control them and i think in the long run that will help to keep the bill down!
