I absolutely love my Nest thermostat. The fact that I don’t have to run downstairs to change the temperature every time is an absolute lifesaver.

One drawback from this unit which I did not realize. A lot of installers will not help you program and maintain this unit once installed. You as the consumer have to be on the hotline and talk to the help and try and work through it without professional help. If you want one of these you need to have a certified nest installer put this in.

Bought for weekend home. Sure is nice to have heat or ac at desired temperature when we arrive rather than having to set temp once we get there.

Mounting firmly in place without the optional plate is slightly difficult and challenging

Bought the Nest back in October. Not only is it super convenient and easy to access from ANYWHERE, it saved me a lot on my energy bill. Easy installation. Love it!

But its difficult to install. Im not handy but my handyman couldnt install it. He had to contact them

I love that I can control everything from my phone and that it will learn a schedule. I feel like it definitely has saved me money.

I like this nest product is saves energy because you don’t have to keep moving it .

I don't like the white face plate that goes behind the unit, it looks cheap and doesn't match the room

It took me a long time to make the plunge. So glad I did. It does do something weird and delays while cooling. Will get my system checked. Still love it.

Ended up costing me far more in AC repairs from it's damage. The app and compatibility with other devices is what initially sold me on the Nest. After using for a year we noticed issues with our AC running all the time but not always cooling, so of course I call a technician to check it out. As we found out, the Nest was the root cause that had fried our AC contactor. The contactor controls the flow of electricity to all parts of the unit. Turns out this is a very common issue with Nest. Save yourself some time and money and go with a reliable brand like Honeywell or Ecobee.

It's amazing really easy to set it up and extremely smart products. Also, you qualify for rebate from Edison and Southern California gas company..Totally worth it..!

I think it's ok don't knowy I bought it when there are more cheaper and same quality stuff out there.

I love that it links with my Google home and also has app I can log in at anytime. Great product.

It's a great product in every aspect. However, you better make sure it'll work with your HVAC system before buying it. As I understand, the NEST does not work with some of the newer variable speed and multi-stage systems, Carrier for example. So do your homework before you buy.

This product is great for many reasons. 1 is when you go out of town. You might forget to turn your air on or off. And another great benefit is saving money on power

This thermostat is awesome. Small, efficient, and just overall great. Wish I didn’t wait so long to pull the trigger on this device.

Great way to save$$. Only wish one could control multiple zones. I had to buy 2 for my house.
