I am an Elite Plus Member and one of the perks of being an Elite Plus Member is you receive "free set up by the Geek Squad, so I read. There were no asterisk stating this would not happen in certain circumstances. When I called to get my new "Nest Thermostat" installed the Geek Squad representative told me they do not install this product in OHIO. Bummer, I guess I move to another state or return this interracial product to the store, Sad!

At least they could provide basic functionality without navigating through miserable user interface.. turn on fan to recirc? why would they make that easy. Aside from that I set it up the way it wanted me to. It was 60 degrees outside, doors were open to air out the house and the darn A/C started ...real energy saving right there! Took it back next day and bought the Honeywell

Love the automatic Eco mode. Wish you would tweek the auto settings a bit more so I could understand how it manages the temp.

These are great, a little pricey but worth the money!!

Did not keep it. Had problems connecting to WiFi & getting registered in my phone app

Feels, looks and functions like a quality item. buy it.

Not easy to operate. Keeps disconnecting from the internet so then it has to reset and you have to recheck your schedule.

Nest is amazing and helps save us money every month.

Love the WiFi feature. The only bad thing is when it learns you it is difficult for you to change the temp and make it stay

I know that this thermostat is highly rated however I couldn't get it to work with my system. We think that there is a problem with my wiring configuration so I had to return it for now and will have my system checked out by an A/C specialist. Therefore I cannot rate it at this time but it is making me do a rating before I leave this screen so that said I can't give a high rating. They should have a no rating option.

This thermostat keeps shutting my furnace off then on then off then on then off then on, etc. Nest support is obviously just reading from a script. I reinstalled the old smart thermostat this was supposed to replace and everything worked fine. I do not recommend this product at all.

Very nice, maybe smarter than I would like it to be. Expensive unless you can get a rebate from your utility company!

Away from home feature seems to be great energy saver.

So handy. I love that I can control it from my phone.

Stopped working 1/28/2019 and had to buy a different type, not the nest anymore

I purchased this for my new condo and it worked well for a year. After that, the system kept disconnecting. I had to reach out to the Nest team and they told me I'd have to have a common wire installed in order for it to operate correctly. They connected me with a technician and it was installed the next day. The product works like new again.

I never thought I'd have fun with a thermostat. Lol.
