I was having a problem with my thermostat being in the hallway because the temperature is usually cooler than the rest of the house so with the generation 2 I would just run the fan much more to get the temperature in the hallway to feel like the rest of the house. But finding out that nest came out with a temperature sensor that I could place outside the hallway I knew I had to have one. The only thing is, generation 2 did not support them. So I bought the 3rd generation to be able to use the temp sensor. Now I rarely need to run the fan because the rooms I keep the sensors in cool and heat the way I want!

Love this Nest Thermostat, specially since our thermostat is located in the second floor, I can always change the temp from downstairs without having to move from the couch while watching TV

Prior to installing the nest I had a programmable thermostat year I set my home and away times. This self programming nest works great and has actually saved me between 8 to 10 bucks each week.

It’s learning our patterns and hopefully reducing If you pass by it lights up with the temp You change change the schedule remotely by phone or do it manually

Fantastic device! Easy to install and easy to set up daily schedules. Feel to hot or cold? No need to get up. Just open the app on your phone and adjust from the comfort of your couch.

Very easy installation and setup on wifi network. I love being able to adjust the temperature with my mobile device and Echo. I also like how it displays temperature when you walk by.

The fact that I can control the temperature from anywhere is why I switched to a smart thermostat. I have other Google products so this one was a no brainer.

I installed generation 3 a few weeks ago. It is working great and is a refinement over generation 1. If you get this device make sure you take advantage of the energy savings discounts.

This thermostat is amazing. I keep my house at 67 and I'm glad that temperature is a energy efficient temperature. Connected to Google home and can control from there or phone app.

Really like this thermostat! I can set a schedule and temperature. It can also be controlled by app. Want to purchase another one to control my upstairs unit.

We needed to upgrade our thermostat, and though the original color I wanted was sold out again, I am happy with the purchase. Unfortunately, due to our schedule, we have not had a lot of fluctuation in the adjustment of the temperature though.

Love my nest! Presetting my temps is awesome and very efficient. I love that it learns my behaviors and I have definitely noticed a change on my usage and bill!

This is the nest to get. I bought the cheaper one and paid the price. This one is easy to set up and then Nest Thermostat app is better than the Google app.

This has been great and easy to install and use. The learning feature is fantastic and I love that it can put your house into eco mode when the house is empty.

This is a great product. I initially bought it thinking it was going to be another place for my wife to hang out away from me but its ended up being a great thermostat!

Easy to install. Not as pretty looking as the Cheaper Nest Thermostat but the dial works a lot better. I’m not sure I’m seeing the benefit of the learning capability yet. The standard Nest Thermostat is a way better buy for the price.

We absolutely love this Nest thermostat. It works with your cell and learns your whereabouts and fixes the temperature accordingly.
