Great item. It has so many options, features, and works great with smartphones. The only reason I took a star off is because unfortunately it did not work with my system, even though all the wiring was compatible. I had to unfortunately return it.

I am not handy by any means, but after watching how to install on utube it was so easy.Easy setup & 125.00 rebate from + sce / so cal gas = no brainer....

I installed the nest by myself. The directions are pretty straight forward but I did have to google a few things.

Didn't want to give it a 5just yet. I have had this for a little over 30 days and am awaiting my first power bill using it a full month. Personally I think I will have a better feeling after 90 days. Maybe I can re-evaluate at that time. Overall, really cool and customer friendly

I can't say yet that I've noticed any change in my total A/C usage as the energy bill is pretty much the same, but I like that I can at least see the history of my A/C usage, when it has been running and for how long. Controlling it from my phone while away is a plus.
