This product is so easy to use. Works great on the application. We have seen a good difference in our bill, and we are helping stay green. Highly recommend Nest thermostat.

This was really easy to set up. It is great to set the temp if you leave and forget to change the thermostat.. Also can get the place warm or cool as you head back from work. Way cool

Although I am happy with the two nest thermostats that I purchased I was not happy with the nest website, specifically where you enter what wires your current thermostat has and it tells you if the nest will work. Basically it says the nest will work for me (what it doesn't say is that you kinda have to hack it to work) After reading about horror stories online doing it the way nest says to (for my situation) I went ahead and pulled new thermostat wire to both zones and upgraded my zone relay switch box. I only splurged for the nests because after the sale I got both for 400 then I got 200 back from my gas company as a rebate. In the end I paid 200 total for both which was awesome..... then I had to tack on about 40 for new wire and 110 for the new relay box (not to mention hiring a professional to install the box if you aren't the type of person who feels confident doing the work. I did it myself and it's pretty easy, intimidating but easy). I still saved but now it doesn't feel like such a great savings haha. There are cheaper options that do the same thing but nothing will be as cool as a nest. It's definitely a splurge item. If you plan on just buying this and installing it make sure you have at least 3 wires behind your current thermostat and one of them is a constant 24v (this is assuming you are using the thermostat for heat only, heat and ac will require more than 3 wires)

Thus far I have been very happy with the Nest Thermostat, which replaced a standard 5-2 programmable thermostat. Installation was a breeze, though the smaller profile of the Nest left an exposed unpainted area that was behind the previous, larger thermostat and which needed to be repainted. The Nest learns your standard schedule very quickly, and it is easy to make changes on the go from either the thermostat itself or from the Nest app. I am also a big fan of the "auto away" feature that turns down the heat when you are away from the home (it detects "away" based on a combination of motion in front of the thermostat and (optional) location services on the Nest app). I would definitely recommend upgrading the the Nest, especially if your utility company offers a rebate on the purchase of a smart thermostat.

Great next-generation thermostat. I have so much control and can save so much money on my energy cost with this learning thermostat. It only took me 30 minutes to install and I'm no electrician! I love the history feature and the scheduling.

Imagine laying in bed at midnight and you wakeup sweating because it is too dang hot in your house/apartment. You don't want to get up and walk all the way to your livingroom to simply turn off the heat, or turn on the A/C. This nifty little device allows you to do all that, while you're laying in bed. You simply grab your phone, pull up the app or Google home, and just turn it to whatever you want. Another benefit, is that it learns your patterns. This is a great thing because it will know, after a while, that you are going to work. It will turn itself off and wait until before you come home to turn back on.

The auto out of home and coming back home doesnt work as well as i wanted it to... but it works sort of. All in all, its a decent thermostat, main thing for me is that it was better than whatever i had installed originally.

looks and feels so good compared to our old thermostat especially I can now control it with my phone before I come home

Love this thing. easy to install and works perfectly so far. We love the history function and our ability to manage remotely. Also the function that lowers the thermostat when no one is home. Good investment and you wont be sorry

This works as advertised. Thermostats are basically a necessary eyesore. This one looks good. I purchased it as a gift and the receiver loved it. Said the installation and setting things up was pretty easy.

I got two nest thermostats for my house (upstairs and downstairs). I wanted a thermostat which I can control over an app and cool the house before I come in the evening. It works great and adapts to your schedule. Highly recommended.

Took less than 10 minutes to install. The house is always comfortable and the heat is running less. I liked it so much upstairs I bought a second for the downstairs zone and got 2 Protects to replace my CO2 and Smoke detectors.

The setup was kind of an awful experience, I was number 70 in the queue on a phone call and I kept dropping me. However, we really like the app with our new thermostat. It was actually easy to install, just annoying that we had been on the phone for 2 hours trying to find out if it was compatible, because that's what the instructions said to do.

Works as advertised. It has made keeping my home at the temperature I want when I want extremely easy. Using the nest app has been a wonderful experience.

Had the first generation Nest in my previous home. Couldn't wait to get one for our new home here in Florida. It is very easy to set up and use and it truly is great being able to control it over an app and any WiFi you're on.

Expensive but you get quality and ease of use. Works great. Installation was very easy and supports practically any type of unit out there. It looks great on the wall.

I bought this via the Black Friday deal and so far I'm loving it. I love not having to program it or to remember to drop the temperature when going out for anextended time. Plus I can see how much heat I used and for how long and also when the heat came on. I'm planning to get another for 2nd zone and eventually a 3rd. I've had one issue a few days ago where the display no longer lit up when walking past it. Upon investigating, I noticed the wifi was disconnected and it said low battery. I called tech support and they couldn't understand why since the power readings were on par. They advised to reset the network settings and leave it to see if it would recharge. I did this and it took 24hrs to charge. Hoping this doesn't re occur. It didn't impact hearing which was good. I just had no control over it via the app.

Beautiful design and easy to use. Installation was fairly easy while speaking with tech support which was also great. Just received my first heating bill for the month since installing and I saved $30.00! What more can be said!

Bought this gadget because it was on sale, works with google and just wanted a nice update to our thermostat. It was super easy to install, it looks great, works with google and I love that it has an app.

I love the Nest thermostat. It is easy to set up. Easy to use and it works great. I have not had a problem with it. I would defiantly get this is you want to say money. The schedule system is so easy to use and makes life easier.
