I needed a thermostat my wife could control anywhere in the house ( knee replacement surgery). OMG This is it App allows you to take a pic of current wiring. It will tell you f Nest is compatible. AND show you new wiring scheme. Saves old one in case you move and take NEST with you. 30 minute install including wifi search and programming. Includes level in base. Also base plate if nest doesn't cover current spot. App allows you to control from ANYWHERE. across town or across country. BUY THIS!

It is VERY easy to set up. It learns when you are home and when you are not to change your cooling/heating. Love the you want you can manage settings from anywhere,

Easy to install into the wall and easy to set up. We only have heat no AC, so unsure how that would differ in the installation process. There are a couple different ways to attach to the wall (e.g with a panel or without). App instructions where easy to follow. Had to wait a few hours to use the product though because it had to charge and connect to wifi. Would recommend product if you are wanting to monitor your home from afar. My be a little challenging if not tech savvy, but once you get instructed it is easy to use.

Easy to setup. In comparison to ecobee I prefer Nest thermostat better. Package with sensors and you can monitor the temperature in multiple rooms of your home. Also you can look back 10 days and see how long your unit ran each day. Scheduling is easy as well or you can use the self learning mode. Check with your local electric company for rebates on having a smart thermostat

Works great with my Google Home Hub! Can visually see the temp displayed on the screen of my Home Hub. Also works with voice commands to raise and lower temps.

Love this thermostat! So convenient to control temperature with phone & it does learn from your own habits. Bought 2 of them & recommend it for anyone to all save some $.

After purchasing a new home and watching our utility bills rise for a while I vowed to change all of that in 2015. I began to purchase LED light bulbs as a start, new energy efficient appliances, and then September 2015 the Nest 3rd Generation was released which caught my attention. I asked my father-in-law who had the Nest 2nd Generation for information and he had nothing negative to say about it so I was sold. After comparing it to other competitors I was hooked on this one due to the ease of installation, good reviews, and $100 electric company rebate (ask your local energy company).

If you are in the market for a thermostat, just get a nest. This product works exactly as advertised. Already have a schedule and it's saving me money. Outstanding design, clean, and neat.

Very easy to install and connect. Love how I can control it from my phone and from the unit itself. It is also handy to know how much the furnace ran that day.

Easy to use...like to large display. Was also easy to install and program.

This is a compact little device that eliminates the manual job of adjusting the thermostat. The voice command functionality is well-integrated into Google Home, and setting it up is a breeze. The installation of the thermostat might require professional assistance but that's only if you have older wiring in your home. In some cases the device ships uncharged, so you'll have to charge it a bit (using a USB charging cable) before installing it. On the whole, this smart thermostat is well worth the price.

We bought this to replace an older thermostat. We like that this one can be connected to WiFi and hooked up to our google nest we can operate this from just about anywhere using our phone or tablet. I love how I can just speak to my google nest and tell it to turn up or down . The only thing I don’t care for is the ECO mode, because I prefer to change the temperature when needed.

Easy to install, easy to use, and so far doing what's expected, whether it's turning my heat on and off or keeping tabs on energy usage. Hope it has a long, healthy life.

Very functional and easy to use product. I have it integrated with smoke/co detectors (also by Nest) so that the heater is automatically shut down when the detectors go off.

I LOOOOOOVE this thing! I’m not sure if I’ve saved money on electricity/cooling yet bc I have solar and won’t be able to assess that until the end of the year. BUT, it has made our lives so much easier. My husband installed 2 in our home when I was 7 months pregnant, and baby is now 5months old. Having these thermostats have felt like having an extra set of hands. I ask google multiple times on a daily basis 1) what the temp is set to, 2) change modes, 3) set temp. I wouldn’t go back to a traditional thermostat for anything!

It works as advertised. My favorite feature is it automatically changing to Away mode when we're all out of the house. No point in heating an empty home! They recently updated the Nest app so that you can have multiple accounts controlling the same Nest(s), meaning my wife can use her own account and it tracks both our phones to know when to go into 'Away' Mode. I also like that I can see our usage history to see what days we use the most energy, though I wish it would let me look at a longer history than just one week. It doesn't yet work with Apple Homekit, so if you are looking to control your Nest with Siri, keep waiting. Other than that, a great buy.

Had this installed at the time of a HVAC replacement, so can’t comment on ease of installation, however have loved the ease of programming and use of the WiFi connectivity. I choose this model for the ability to use remote sensors, and the one in my living room ensures that the system is “reading” the area most used. The thermostat itself is in a room that tends to be the hottest, so it was never easy to make the rest of the rooms comfortable. Will not be using the “learning” features right now, and don’t know if the eco features will be of much use, but still very pleased with the thermostat. One thing I wish I had known was that the backer plate is white. I wish I had also chosen the white thermostat, I think it would have blended in better, but the stainless still looks fine. I was not able to get the remote sensor at Best Buy, had to secure it elsewhere.

Very happy with this thermostat. Easy to install and set up. I like that I can change the temperature at home from my phone. Very pleased with this purchase.

Nest is so easy to install and use. It quickly learns your schedule and works accordingly, plus you can make any adjustments needed through your mobile device. I love it!!
