I have a heat pump and LP furnace. I could not get any other smart thermostats to work. However, this one does. My system is 15 years old, so I had to do some research, but there is plenty of information out there to assist. If you have dual fuel system, do not attempt this if you are a novice or non-technical. This is not plug and play for dual fuel.

Really like the Nest Learning Thermostat. Had it professionally installed about three weeks ago. Using the Google App to control settings. Look forward to see impact on power usage. Will update review once I’ve had more time using it.

Once I figured out how to stop the smart thermostat self programming, it does what I ask it to.

This was easy to install and looks very nice on my wall. I've been hesitating about buying "smart" ANYTHING for my home over security issues and "The Internet of Things." But Nest has stated that they have the same concern and are continuously working to keep their products secure.

Great device not hard to install. It's nice to be able to control your AC when you are not home.

Very simple to install and program. It only took a few minutes to install. Set up was very user friendly.

Overall have had no problem with it. Installation I had done by Geek Squad. Found out that my old thermostat was off in degrees compare to the Nest. Has been working well.

This is a great option if you need to control your a.c. system remotely.

My second unit. The last one was damaged during moving. Never had a problem with it. It initially reduced our enery bill by about 25% over the programabe honeywell that it replaced 5 years ago... Since setting this one up over Christmas holidays it has been adjusting to our lifestyle. Great reports come out periodically. I plan to add other google nest devices soon!

This thermostat is easy to install also the interface is really easy to work with. I bought and installed this for my family. I am looking to see if this product decreasing the gas cost or not.
