Why, then, only 4 stars? My ONLY complaint is they have an awkward scheduling system when you want to set the thermostat to automatically adjust the temperature based on the time of day, in particular if you use the “Heat-Cool” Mode (set a maximum heat and minimum cool range, like 72-69, and depending on the temperature in the home, the thermostat will automatically cool or heat your home. This is a fantastic feature which is hard to program by the hour/day, but once a day is set up to your liking, it can be copy/pasted to every other day to save time. If Google would figure out an easier way to select the temperatures (other than their sliding scale which moves both cool and hot at the same time, which may not meet your needs), this review would be 5 stars…

I'm still learning my way around it but I love that it can detect movement and when I'm away through my phone's location and stiff off any heating/air conditioning. But most importantly, I can always check my usage, pre-heat or cool my house etc. even when I'm at work or travelling.

Google replaced my original one but i had to wait week to get it. I bought this one from Best Buy because I needed a replacement immediately. Hard to live in 90 degree temps w/o AC.
