We love the Nest. It's easy to setup and use. I especially like the leaf, which tells me at a glance if I'm in an eco-friendly mode or temperature. Our electric company recently informed us that they are changing their service to include peak and non-peak hours. Having the Nest will enable us to easily schedule our heat pump not to run at those peak hours and will save us a lot of money.

Easy to install yourself, I especially like the extra remote sensors for comfort in any room.

The install of this device was beyond easy. Wonderful product and a tasty rebate from my power company as well!

The Nest gives me the control I want and need for the cooling and heating of my home. Not only is it much more user friendly than your typical thermostats but having the option to control the temperature while I'm away is such a nice option to have. Now that I've owned it a couple months now I find I am adjusting the temperature way less. This is due to how the Nest learning my habits and automatically adjusting to them. It does exactly what the company advertises folks.

I live in a 2 story house and the thermostat is upstairs. The Nest is so easy to control with my phone. I can adjust the temperature from anywhere so now when I’m on vacation or at work, I can leave it off and cool or heat just before I get home. Plus, I got it on sale!!!

Purchased a ecobee 4, returned it. I then purchased a Nest 3rd generation. The Nest is a true Learning smart thermostat. The first week or so it learned how I set my home. By the end of the first week I never needed to schedule or set a temp. It automatically scheduled times for me. So it is a smart Thermostat vs the ecobee which is a programmable thermostat with Alexa. Nest also can be controlled with Alexa. All in all. You will be happy with the nest.

Amazing. Top notch. Ive always wanted an easy Thermostat like this. When think of the perfect thermostat, this is what comes to mind. Thank you creator of this thermostat!!!!

The install was quick and took longer to read the instructions than the actual install. I have been using the Nest for well over two months now and the remote abilities I have over it and the learning capabilities are excellent.

Took only 20 minutes to install with help from nests website and initial setup was a breeze. Works great!

The nest was easy to install. Some of the functions could use improvement. My unit runs much longer after reaching target cooling temp. . Seems as though the ambient temperature on the display is not very sensitive. I do not like the fact that in order to run the fan only, it automatically turns the system on even with a dedicated wire for fan, and for a timed duration. there are dashes in between temperature settings but yet Fahrenheit displays only whole numbers. The optional temperature sensors can not average the temperature and use that as the ambient temperature. The off site control of the unit via the nest app is the biggest advantage.

Good instructions. Install was simple, only took minutes to set up. So far no issues, works great!

Thermostat works really well. Very convenient and intuitive, with the app. My only complaint was the wiring instructions for a heat pump system. The wiring configuration is a little different. Otherwise great product.
