Nice design and east to install and program. Being able to control and monitor it remotely with a smartphone is great!

Easy to install, if you use Google's compatibility test first on their website. If it says it's good, then installing it is as simple as following the app. I've started constantly checking the temperature and found the temperatures spike throughout the place at various time, helped me narrow down lack of insulation in the attic by room. I recommend buying several of the thermostat puck things to place around the house. Just so you can use the Nest app to check those room's temp and turn on the air/heat for where you are, not the hallway your thermostat is likely to be.

Wiring and Setup were a breeze ...use compatibility check on nest website ...makes the wiring very easy...simple intuitive operation....seamless integration with Google Assistant/Google Home

Easy to install and works as advertised. Lots of options that you don’t have on a normal thermostat. Easy to work from your phone when you’re away from the house.

I was leary about this purchase and set up. But I installed it myself and it works. Very very easy installation. The directions were so user friendly. I love this thermostat. It senses when someone is near and lights up and shows the temperature in the room. I love the programmable features. I can set the temp in the house from anywhere in the world. I would definitely recommend this product.

I had this for about a week now and it is starting to learn our routines which is pretty cool. I also put both of our phones on it so it doesn't go into eco mode unless we both are gone. This works great since I work first shift and my Wife works 2nd. It doesn't save as much energy due to the smaller window when nobody is home but it is nice to be able to control it off my phone. Make sure you run a common wire from your furnace. I have heard of a lot of problems from people trying to run this off a 4wire system, like the ac kicking on in winter to charge the battery.

This thermostat looks more like decoration than those plastic pieces you see on walls. Not only looks nice, it also serves a purpuse, like showing you the temperature inside or the time. Amd it is intelligent too. Just go out and it goes into Away mode to save energy. As soon as it detects you are home, it goes back to the preset temperature, unless you tell them to start cooling your home for your arrival. One not obvious advantage is that you have the control at your phones reach, so you can set the temperature to your best comfort without having to go to the specifiwd set poit on the wall of your house. It also learns and auto adjust the settings. It is awesomeness and smarts in a beautifull package.

The Nest thermostat has great design and it is super easy to use. It also looks modern compared to a traditional thermostat.

I love this thermostat so far. It's easy, looks nice, and works well. I'm still figuring out the learning feature which may not be as useful for me since my schedule is never the same.

Having a smart thermostat just makes sense. The Nest also just looks cool and is easy to use. You go away for a weekend, turn off your system and hit cool or heat as you come into town...smart way to conserve energy and save money. Plus, we got a $75 check from the power company for buying an energy saving device, so it made it more affordable. The integration between Nest products and Google Home is also getting a lot better.

This thermostat has almost paid for itself by saving me money on my heating/electrical bills. My AC doesn’t run as much during summer and my heating doesn’t run as much in the winter. Also, when I leave the house, it auto adjusts the temperature to a range that won’t use as much energy. Lastly, it has intelligent scheduling so it learns when you want it warmer/cooler on average during the day. This product was very easy to install by myself using the included instructions, tools, and wire labels. However, if you’re concerned with electrical work, just contact your HVAC company. I’ll never go back to a “dumb” thermostat!

I love the Nest thermostat. I love being able to adjust the temperature in my home when I am away. This was a huge issue for me prior to purchasing the thermostat. I would head out for work in the morning and not return home until late evening with the air/heat running throughout the day, which would kill my budget. I also like that the thermostat learns your pattern and complies a schedule (which can be amended) based on it. Lastly, I like that the system keeps track of your history and helps you be more mindful in your electrical usage. The thermostat was very easy to install and you may reach a Nest specialist 24/7 for assistance, if needed.

This is perfect for our busy lives. Setting a schedule is a good feature but the better feature is the ability to adjust the temp from anywhere. After we are away on weekends walking into my home with a comfortable atmosphere is a treat. The best of all with a larger family i can see when it was adjusted. I haven't said "Who touched the thermostat" since my Nest Thermostat has been installed. NEVER TOUCH THE THERMOSTAT......lol. One small flaw (that was easily fixed) when you have it hooked up to one phone with the home/away feature ON. My family did not appreciate it when i was outside our wifi and it would kick into the ECO mode. puhaha whoops

Purchased 2 of these. Install was very simple. Took about 15 mins each to have installed and set up. Gives me better control of my home's heating and cooling. Especially in the Southeast part of the country where the temperatures fluctuate between winters and summer temperatures this time of year. I'll see how it pays off over the next few months but right now, all looks good. Pros: Easy to install Nice app Looks nice on the wall Feature packed Auto-away is awesome Cons: Can't see current temperature without going close to it (only shows the set temp) A little pricey

I have had their Nest camera's now for over two years (which synchronize nicely with the thermostat.) I have enjoyed having the cameras so much, I began focusing on their thermostat. This thermostat is very cool. It is easy to install (watch YouTube) and fast. The coolest feature of all is that I can control the temperature from my iPhone and iPad. This works with any smartphone. The Nest device lights up when I get near it, otherwise it conserves the energy by not illuminating constantly. I am happy that I made this purchase, and feel good about, in a small way, that I am being resourceful. Note: I received a rebate from my utility company after providing proof of purchase. So immediately I have saved money.

Love this thing. I upgraded the original 1993 thermostat in my house that is actually controlling my geothermal unit. I was told that the Nest would not work however after a little research and the peace of mind knowing I could return the Nest if it didn't work I gave it a try.....boy am I glad I did. The ability to control things on the go is VERY nice and I love the way it looks. Honestly I don't really like the "learning" function of this device but that was very easy to turn off and I'm really liking everything else about this device.

I bought the nest after debate (nest vs. ecobee). Because my house if fairly small I decided I did not need the additional sensors that come with an ecobee. I really wanted a smart thermostat that I could control while I away, especially when I have to travel for work. I also enjoy the eco functionality of the next that notes when I am not home, though a couple of times I have been home I just wasn't near the nest and it stopped cooling the house. It was easy to install. I just popped off my old unit, detached the wires and installed/wired the nest using the online instructions. It was surprisingly simple and worked well immediately. I took off a star because of some of the issues with the home vs. away mode, eco mode and recently while traveling I had it on away mode so that it wouldn't cool the house so often, but for some reason on one of the days I was away it reverted back to the normal cooling schedule. So the nest has some issues, but so far it was worth the price especially since my electric company gave me a rebate for switching to a smart thermostat and I bought it on sale.

Great product! Well thought design! Bought 4, plus a Temperature Sensor. Have not experienced any issues. Very easy to install and set up. Work with Wi-fi smoothly.

So easy to install and awesome phone application to be able to change the temperature of your home even when your away. Very sleek design and also cool that it hooks up with your google home as well.
