This nest thermostat is a valuable addition to my home. It learns my temperature control

Nest out of the box up and running in 5 minutes... simple. The display is also lot easier to read with the larger numbers.

I have owed the nest thermostat for a month now it's great, can control the temp in the house for the dogs from home.

This thermostat is only worth the price if you qualify for the energy efficiency rebate. Don't know why it is called "smart". The only smart thing is the price charged. Like most thermostats it can connect to wifi and other smart assistants like Alexa. One annoying feature is that it lights up every time you walk by it ..to the temp. It would be better if it could light up to time/date. Perhaps it can but seems like a lot of work to figure out how to make this happen. It comes with a white back plate that is not appealing to the eye and is not shown in most pictures.

It was easy to install. If you decide to use the additional face plate you will need a level to be sure it looks straight.

I would recommend to everyone. This is one of the easiest thermostat to work on with.

Love been about 3 days and it’s already learning out patterns and was easy to instal.

Highly recommended. As long as you have a strong wifi connection, you'll love it. It even learns your schedule and adjust the temperature up or down a little to save energy when you aren't home
