The nest thermostat is a wonderful tool. The perfect alternative to your typical thermostat, the nest is smart. It is also easy to use and go from heat to cool and control the temperature. You can set it so that the temperature will know when the space is occupied or not occupied. It is an energy saver. Love it!

I haven’t had this for a week and love it already. Extremely easy to install and it looks awesome on the wall. I can’t wait to see what the actual functions can do. My only opinion is if you know you are going to get one is to prepare the wall before hand. You might need to paint or patch holes from the previous thermostat. This isn’t a necessity because it does come with a white trim plate that you can put on to cover all that but I think it would look nicer with just the Nest on the wall.

The Nest Thermostat 3rd Generation was easy to install. I like the self learning feature as well as the ability to control the thermostat with your cell phone through the Nest App. The Away feature was also great at saving energy when you are away. It can automatically detect via cell phone or presence of motion around the thermostat but I did not use this feature. I manually controlled the Away feature. In the auto detect mode, if you are sleeping in the room, it mistakenly senses that there is nobody in the house.

It works as it should. I easily installed this thermostat in 15 minutes max. The QR code gives you stwp by step instructions. Works great with the app as well.

The Nest has changed traditional thinking about programmable thermostats. It connect to Wi-Fi, and can be run from a smartphone, tablet, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, etc., and provides the current weather conditions outside the home. The furnace fan can be run on a schedule so you don't have to choose between "Auto" or "On" manually. It can be set to Cool and Heat at the same time so it will pick which device to run based on the selected temperature much like a newer car does.

Recently, we purchased two Google Nest Smart Thermostats and had them installed by the Geek Squad. We couldn't be more happy with these thermostats. They are easy to use, pleasant to the eye and, after about one week, they learn your temp settings and begin establishing settings on their own unless you override them. We are so pleased with them that we plan to have a 3rd one installed in the near future.

I was very skeptical about spending 250 bucks for a thermostat.....but I also don't like paying high electric bills. So after hearing so many good things about the Nest Thermostat, I went ahead and reluctantly purchased this product. I wasn't sure that it was working at first, because in the first week it didn't appear to do the things it appears to do in the commercials. Turns out it was just "learning" my habits because after about a week it was automatically adjusting the temperature for me. I was SO SHOCKED to see that my electric bill was literally HALF the price of what it normally is and IN THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER TOO!! This thing will definitely pay for itself in two more months. I LOVE IT!!! I also love the fact that if I need to make any adjustments I don't have to walk all the way to thermostat, I can just adjust from my smart phone. SO HAPPY to be a part of the Nest family!

I have been using this thermostat for about 3 months now and I really love the convenience of this thermostat. It learns your routines within about 2 weeks and auto adjusts itself so my house is cool/warm at the appropriate times, plus being able to control it from my phone or voice command using Alexa makes this device truly user friendly. I would recommend to anyone, but especially people who are tech savvy or enjoy smart home devices.

This thermostat has so many benefits ! Who wouldn’t want to have one! You can regulate you heat/cooling while not at home. You also can tell if your heating cooling system is not working correctly and get it repaired before damage is done!

Installation and setup were a breeze! I lucked out as the old thermostat I was replacing was small and didn't have to repair or paint too much around the nest after installing it. However, they include a white wall plate (that I assume you can paint your wall color) in case you need to use it to cover the area of the old thermostat. It's nice they provide the option.

I had been wanting one of these for a few years and with the black friday sale I got 2 for my house. One for upstairs and one for downstairs. I was a little hesitant but this thing is the real deal. With the app on my phone I can lay in bed and change the temperature or when I am away. It also has built in learning that remembers how you like the temperature and it knows when you are away and will adjust the temperature since no one is in the house. You can also make a schedule also.

I like it. Easy to use, love being able to control it from my phone when I'm not home. Turn the AC off when I'm not home, turn it on from the car when I'm on my way. I don't like the learn feature, need to figure it out. Not sure how it learned to turn down the temperature down in the middle of the night but I constantly need to erase the memory so I don't wake up in the middle of the night being cold.

Switched my “old fashioned” thermostat to this one and yes it’s amazing and easy to use. You can adjust your home temperature from anywhere including your bed at night if it gets to hot or cold.

These things are great. Easy to operate. Decent at learning but can still set your own schedule. Accessible remotely. But do get an extended warranty. 2 of 3 purchased have had the wifi no longer connect after 1-3 years.

Best thermostat in the game. Easy to program with any Amazon or Google device. Able to use Alexa to set the temperature at the desire degree. Easy to install and use within 15 minutes. Highly recommended product and looking to get another for my downstairs. The energy saving component helps me save money on the energy bill through the hot summer temperatures.

This thermostatwas a replacement for my old honeywell mercury dial-type thermostat. It was very easy to install, and I didn't need the extra baseplate since it is roughly the same size. It was also very easy to set up and connect to my android smartphone. It is very intuitive. I originally intended to purchase the Nest E but it wasn't compatible with my system. I wasn't happy I needed to spend the extra money on this unit, but I'm glad I did...this thermostat looks great on the wall.

Purchased this about 6 months ago now. Was able to install it myself without any trouble. Just make sure to purchase the right one because their website said this was the only model that would currently work in my house. Only thing that gets annoying sometimes is because of the Learning part of it, it will switch my temperature once in a while to try to save money.
