I've held off on buying this for the longest time because I didn't want to spend the money. I regret not buying it sooner as it's so convenient to control from my phone and not have to get up in the middle of the night. It was really easy to set up, and I love the reports it gives me everyday, so I can track my usage. Best part is it works with my alarm company, ADT, and I can use Google Home to control it too!

We absolutely love the Nest Learning Thermostat. We had one for several years and when we replaced/upgraded our HVAC system, the contractor replaced our Nest with another brand - Eco&%$ - which he claimed was the same. He claimed all "smart" thermostats were the same, and that the new one would work just like a Nest. Wrong! We don't want to have to program the thermostat - we like the fact that a Nest "learns" our behavior, and begins saving energy in the first couple weeks. Don't believe that all "Smart" thermostats are the same - there's more to it than just being wireless. We gave our old Nest to a friend but wished we still had it. After a few months we ditched the other brand, and bought another Nest for our house and all is well again! Even if you're "mechanically challenged", replacing your thermostat with the Nest is so easy. The instructions are clear, simple, and almost fun. in less than 30 minutes, you can be up and running.

Very stylish! Easy to install, I was able to do it myself. My previous thermostat was battery powered (so it lite up the dials) and I changed it out because the AC unit stopped turning on... no sound, nothing... making me suspect the thermostat was the issue. Now, I’m not sure if this is a flaw of the Nest thermostat or a perk... however, when I installed the device, the power did not come on. Called an AC person out to find that I had a blown fuse causing now power to reach the thermostat. Fuse replaced (AC companies really over charge for the little stuff), Nest powered on. Two days later, I get a yellow wire error on the Nest. This caused my unit to freak out, turning on and off as the error came and went. I struggled to get the app to allow me to turn the unit off to prevent the constant on and off issue, having to wait for the moment the error cleared for just enough time for me to raise the temp to aide in keeping the unit from trying to kick on. Read some Nest forums to find this to be a common issue, the yellow wire error. One person brought up a good point, maybe my old Thermostat was not “smart” enough to acknowledge the yellow wire issue, which may have been present all along? The yellow wire controls cooling, btw. Called the AC guy back out (more money, yay). Found out that I had an issue with my AC units contractor, a small $10 part that has connectors on both sides and copper coils inside. The coils had burned, literally. How does this even happen? My unit is only 7 years old. Needless to say, a $10 part cost me over $300 to fix... highway robbery!!! So I’m on the fence a bit? Thank you Nest for helping to identify an issue? Or thank you for causing it? Not sure! PROS: Ultimately, I love the thing. It’s cute. It goes to sleep and lights up when you are near. You can control it from you phone, away from home too. I like the option to turn on the fan to control humidity. CONS: Pricey! I should have opted out of getting the learning one because this feature just would not work correctly. I would wake up to extremely high heat settings, causing me to lose sleep... I never put the heat on at night, and def not at 76 if I ever had to, why would it automatically go there at 6am?? I felt like the thing had a mind of it’s own so I disabled it.

It's expensive, and I didn't need a new thermostat - but this was easy to install, it looks great, and I enjoy the way it works. Remains to be seen if it saves me any money on my utility bills.

I purchased this as my second Nest thermostat for my dual zoned home. It is very easy to install and love the fact you can access it from anywhere in the world (app or web) , get notifications, change temp or settings and gives monthly reports. It is very sleek and visually pleasing. It works very well with the Nest sensors too. It a bit pricey, but worth it.

Works great, learned my schedule and keeps my place cozy. Easy to install and set up. Recommended!

We love this thing. It may not be for the non-tech-savvy, but it works great and for someone like me, it's easy to use and set up. The instructions are very detailed and straightforward. Our power bills are probably about 25% lower as a result of using this. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a thermostat designed for the 21st century.

This is my second Nest thermostat! I just moved and installed another one. I should have taken it with me! I keep my house cooler at night when we sleep snd sometimes forget to change the temperature in the day. The Nest allows me to change it from my phone and also learns my temperature routine which is very helpful!!

I purchased two of these. They were very easy to install and work great. They also look great. I watched a YouTube video to learn how to install them and it was pretty self explanatory. The app is easy to navigate. Love the fact that it learns how you like the temp and then keeps it that way to save you money. it also learns when you are away and home via your cell phone to save you money. Love them.

This thermostat took some getting used to. The installation was simple if you are comfortable with wires. The smart eco feature was difficult to use as it would cool our house down to 59 degrees when it was 40 degrees outside. After turning that feature off and manually setting a schedule this thermostat has worked great for us.

The NEST thermostat is the best smart home device. It works seamlessly and is easy to setup.

I’ve wanted a Nest since the first version, but never took the plunge. Well, last fall I moved and found that the new homes thermostats were not calibrated properly due to age and I finally had my justification to get a couple. They work great and have already saved me some money. They are easy to install (took about ten minutes each for me) and they integrate well with my Amazon Echo Spot.

Looks good on the wall. Very easy to install and use. Lost of other smart devices can be used with it.

This is my second house that I have installed a Nest Thermostat, easy to install and very easy to setup. Not much else to do other than setting up the temperature schedule or leave it alone and adjust it as you go and it will really learn what temperature you like the house to be at certain times of each day of the week. Works great too with the app from a tablet or cellphone, great for lazy people that do not want to get up to adjust the temperature.

I was skeptical at first, but I find that purchasing this thermostat was a great idea. I don’t have to mess with it now that it knows my schedule. I like that it lights up when I approach it & it’s wonderful to change the temperature when I’m away & I forgot to do it before I left. I would recommend this product.

This Nest thermostat is working like a champ. I love the convenience of it and I like that it tracks my history so I can have an early estimate of what my power bill will be. I love that it shuts its self off when I forget and that I can change the temp or turn it off with out having to get up out of bed or move off the couch. Very handy when it's cold outside and I can turn it on 10 minutes before I get home. Little pricey but worth the convenience.

If your reading this you probably know that Nest makes very quality products none more well designed than the thermostat. The thermostat looks Good, saves money, works well, and is now at your finger tips on your smart phone. I use the weather feature For the farsight function to display the outdoor weather with forecast for the day. It really is a smart thermostat that is as easy to use as the iPhone. You'll be happy!!

I love love love this THING... I used to have a $250 dollars electric bill when I just bought the house.... three months later and bought this thermostat and besides that was so easy to install (I did it myself) my bill now is $170 and I am NOT lying.. It is the best investment that anyone can make.. I can even control the temperature anywhere from my phone.

Nest thermostat tracks my temperature preferences and schedule then programs itself accordingly. I could check the house temperature and turn on my A/C with a smartphone before I arrive at home on a very hot day. I am planning to try a Nest temperature sensor for one of the rooms on the second floor where the temperature is usually 5 degrees higher than the first floor in summer.
