It helped show that my furnis wasn’t working properly because of how long it would run a day too. Went from 10 hrs a day to 2.5 after being repaired. Might have not done it as fast without seeing how long it ran while I wasn’t home.

Great thermostat

Very easy setup and very helpful troubleshooting. During the set up I came across some problems but the nest app walked me through some troubleshooting steps until I found the problem. Definitely recommend it. After setup it has been amazing to use.

Google Smart Thermostat

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the thermostat but was somewhat perplexed when a technician from the Geek Squad came over to install the thermostat but couldn't because I had a mercury switch in my old thermostat. I had to call someone else and pay an additional fee to have another technician install my thermostat.

The first Nest’s WiFi connection died but I was able to still use it in person until I could get a replacement. Switching back to a non Nest thermostat for a day before the next one could be installed (easy to do yourself) was like going back to the Stone Age.
