Saves me money

Has two colors with the wall plate (black and white) instead of 3 (silver,black,white). I can control from my phone app which is cool when im sleeping and it gets hot i dont have to run downstairs. But sometimes doesnt work great when its cool outside and house gets warm inside. Have to activate ac myself but i dont mind. Overall i would buy again and recommend it.

Posted .Hi there, EricaB! Thanks for letting us know about the issue. We're sorry to hear that you're unable to set up both your replacement Nest Learning Thermostats on the Nest app. Here are some helpful steps you might want to try out:
- Make sure your internet service is working.
- Check your app version. Make sure that you have the latest version of the Nest app
- Restart both your Nest Learning Thermostat. Restart your thermostat to refresh your connection. Once done, try to add it to your account in the app again.
- Restart your router and modem. Unplug your modem and router power cords. Wait for 30 seconds, then plug your modem and router back in.
- Check the settings on your Wi-Fi router or access point. Restrictive firewall security or parental control settings on your Wi-Fi router can sometimes block communication with Nest servers. Refer to your Wi-Fi router or access point documentation to learn how you can exempt the Nest thermostat from these restrictions.

Great product, easy to set up

It was easy to set up and connect to our home network. I also added it to Alexa's skills, so I can easily control it through the voice commands. I really like how it will tell you when your furnace needs service, like filter changes. I also purchased the NEST CO2/Smoke alarm and installed it at the same time.

Great Thermostat

Once youve installed your thermostat, it knows what temperature to keep your house at at different parts of the day. for example i like my house to be a little cooler at night, so it automatically makes it cooler at 10pm when im getting ready for bed. it knows when my wife and i are away from the house, and knows to raise the temperature so that we save money on our electric bill.

Make sure your thermostat is in a place that will have traffic, otherwise, you will find like I did that some automation features will not function properly as intended by this type of technology. Usage report could use a little updating, not too informative.
