We bought one for the first floor last month and had to get one for the upstairs. Great device and with the app it is so easy to adjust the temp even when we arent home.

Looks neat and very cool, easy to use and specially when you are away and need to turn up the heat or cool.

This is the best thermostat I have ever owned it easy to use and has helped me keep my home temperatures controlled with ease.

We have had ZERO problems with our Nest Thermostat. Very easy to install if you have any sort of handyman experience. We noticed a reduction in our utility bill almost immediately. We like the fact that if we return from work, shopping, etc early we can set the thermostat before the drive home, so the temp is already adjusting and the house is comfy before we arrive. Its also nice to be able to adjust temp without getting out of bed. The fact that it works with our Nest Protect Detectors is a great bonus that hopefully we never have to use. But it definitely adds to the value. The only feature that this thermostat is lacking is a "HOLD" feature for any specific temperature. I'm not sure why Nest hasn't updated its app or firmware to add this feature because every programmable thermostat has incorporated this feature for vacations, travel, etc. Other than that we have no complaints.

In this day and age - your just a web search away from knowing virtually anything and everything about a product your interested in. That being said - instructions were easy to follow for installation. It looks great installed, and is working without any issues so far (going on a couple months now). It saved us on energy usage and the apps works like it should. Can't ask for more for my money.

If you're a Texas resident or somewhere where you heavily rely on your HVAC unit, then I highly recommend a NEST. It's programmable online, on a smartphone app & everything is so user-friendly. It was a breeze to DIY install. Took no time & you don't have to be a professional electrictian whatsoever. Rather than continue to waste money on a non-programmable thermostat, this is a MUST HAVE. If you want your home set at a particular temp while you're gone, or if you change your mind (or the weather does) then you can simply adjust via the app. So simple.

Works amazingly well. When out of the house I can control the temperature should I forget or simply wish for it to be warmer/colder when I get home.

Very easy to install took less than 5minutes, using with the app is great as you can have temp set before you walk in the door. Certainly recommend

We purchased the thermostat over the holidays. Easiest thing to install and the fact that we can control it from anywhere. It is going to pay for itself .

Love having the ability to control my home heating and air from anywhere. My old wall thermostat had timers and was programable but really hard to use. The Nest is real simple to use, program- and after a while it gets to know your habits and pretty much teaches itself how to keep the home comfortable. I also received a rebate from the gas company which is a bonus. and will be saving overall on my heating and air bill now that I am in control. I have other smart home devices like Wink, Ring and Nest carbon dioxide detector which all work well with one another. 100% happy and would recommend the Nest Thermostat.

We upgraded from a regular programable thermostat to this and do not regret it. Nest customer service had me send a picture of the current wiring and then instructed me where to put the wires. Very simple to setup and the app is awesome. It learns how you like temperature in your home throughout the day and programs itself. Bonus: our amazon echo connected to this! We can tell Alexa to adjust the temperature from the couch.

The thermostat is actually more useful in keeping house at desired temp levels in real time. The functionality is fantastic. The ability to change remotely is also great.

Great thermostat to use if your home is connected. Works well and easy to set up. Make sure you get the wires hooked up correctly.

This product is a great tool to run your cooling and heating system. Smart and learns your habits. We purchased this first in 2017 and again in 2024 (after a system short). Worth the cost and can control via an app (which is great when you want remote functions). Great product.

The Nest thermostat is definitively a must if you want to keep track of cost, adjust temperature remotely and keep comfy on all spaces. The fully take advantage of the thermostat, I do recommend adding nest temp sensors to be able to identify zones in the house that are at different temps from where the main thermostat is located. With these two options combined, you can control the times and zones of the house where the AC or heating needs more flow and would help control them accurate. The four stars is due to the fact that it has preset times (morning, afternoon, evening and night) and it does not allow the user to change the start or end times of each preset. Not a big deal once you learn how to change other settings, but would be nice to be able to change them to avoid having to look for workarounds.

So far this works perfect. Only draw back was that it thinks for it self. So even when I set the thermostat to 80 it would cool of tbe house go 78 since that was my daily set. But once I figured how to turn it onto a “ Normal “ thermostat, its great.

Bit pricey for what it does, but the ease of use and setup make it worth it. Reliably controls temperature and 'learns' what you prefer, that you pretty much don't even need to use your smartphone to control it.

This is my second google nest. It is easy to use and looks really good. The best part is that you can control the temp via your smart phone.
