The ease of setting up, bright display , and ever learning of your routine, schedule, and comfort makes this my favorite thermostat. I call it thermodynamic as it dynamically handles all my cooling and heating needs to keep me and my family happy.

I've had this Nest for over 6 months now and it's the best Smart Thermostat I've owned. Easy to operate, easy to setup (if you have a little know-how), and has great quality. The ONLY reason I didn't give it 5 Stars is due to the Routine setting. It tries to learn your daily routine which is great but sometime it does it TOO well and if you happen to change the temperature to a certain degree two days in a row, it thinks that you want it set at the temperature every day after that, which not everyone does, so I disabled that feature. Using the Google Home app is also a breeze, so you can change it on the go or if you're too lazy to get up and change it yourself. The thermostat works with both Google Home and Alexa, but I did not set it up with Apple Homekit.

I was a little skeptical about purchasing one of these because they are the most expensive of the smart thermostats. I was very impressed with the build quality, and also the instructions to wire it. Installing this was a breeze because the instructions were so clear and there are even videos which make it even easier. Total installation time took about 15 minutes. Everyone is impressed when they see it. I love how Incan wake up in the middle of the night and change the temperature from my phone without even leaving my bed.

The Nest thermostat has been a great investment. It makes programming your HVAC system when you are home and away so easy and offers tips on making it more efficient. The display is sleek and it's very easy to navigate on the device and the app.

So far I had this item for about a month and it has been working just fine. Set up was easy and the instructions were pretty straight forward. If you are looking for a smart thermostat, I recommend you look into buying this one. Everything can be pretty much controlled from you phone and the app is pretty easy to navigate through. I know this thermostat can be pretty pricey but you can often find rebates online or you can ask your electricity company to see if they have some kind of offer. Best Buy also has deals, so keep an eye out.

The Nest was very easy to install (I had mine installed and on the wifi in under 20 minutes). I love the intuitive interface and controls in the app and the Nest itself. I wasn't sure how much money it could save me, but in the first month using the Home/Away feature, I was surprised at how often we were away and heating the house for no one. Our first bill this winter with the Nest was about $50 less than the previous winter month with similar conditions. I love the reports you get in the app about the daily usage as well. I am very impressed.

The unit was easy to install and extremely easy to use. The app on my phone allows you to adjust the temperature and regulate settings. I love it!

Love this product! I have had it for years now and it failed on me once (heat would turn on instead of AC). It was a true bug that could not be fixed so I reached out to Nest and they sent me a replacement at no cost! This new one has lasted over a year and I have very happy with it. So easy to control from our phones, and even with our voice through our Alexas!

I bought 2 for a dual zone system. I had some some initial setup issues that caused my AC to kick out heat. My mistake not the Nest. Once I corrected one wire it worked perfectly. Looks really sleek on the wall and the farsight is nice, but I really like the scheduling in the Nest app. It’s effortless and helped me keep the AC off during peak times. Gen3 models are starting to be sold at discontinued prices so picking 1 or even 2 up is reasonable considering the money you’ll save. Remember to check for rebates with you power company.

I bought this thermostat during the thanksgiving sale in Best Buy for 250$ and got a 50$ gift card along with it :) The installation was simple and I could finish it in 20 minutes. I am certainly saving a lot on the electric bills due to the ability to control the thermostat remotely using my phone.

I love how easy to use this device is. I installed myself and never has issues with. My electric bill has been lower since purchasing this.

I installed this myself after watching a couple of YouTube videos. This thermostat works great, easy to use and control from anywhere with the app.

The units were easy to install and everything you need comes in the box. I recommend checking the wiring on Nest's site before buying to ensure your unit is compatible. The installation took about 5 minutes and another 5 minutes to configure. No issues reported and I do not have any negatives about the units. There's an energy usage monitor so I'm estimating that I'll probably make up for the cost of the unit in a year or a little beyond. The biggest savings I'll find is with the ability to turn the unit off and remote activate when your an hour away returning from a vacation.

Love the ease of installing and the ease of learning the product. The ability to control the temperature in the house with the click of a button on my phone is wonderful.

I use this thermostat in a 2nd home. It allows me to monitor the temperatures in the house and adjust them when needed. Easy to install and program and the app works very well

This is the second unit I bought. I love how easy it is to set up and use. Just make sure you have the right type of power (If you have 120V, this is not for you). One of my favorite features is how it learns your schedule and it adapts based on your preferences. One other cool feature is that if you have Nest home protect (Smoke/Carbon Monoxide detector), and you have your alarm go off, it will automatically shut off your furnace/AC unit. One hint I can give you is to use the far side feature. It makes the digits bigger, easier to see from far away.

So far so good! Works as advertised definitely would recommend it. Extremely easy to install, waiting on utility bill to see what savings it causes
