In general, this is a great product. I have two in my smart home. The only issue encountered (by myself and the furnace installer) was the fan connection. The wiring was done as instructed, but when we tested the system, the fan for heating and the overall heating function would not accept initially. After reading other online reviews, I found that if you re-installed the system and let it have 'time' it would work. That seemed crazy, but worked. Once it did - great tool for my smart home. I did return the first unit bought due to this issue - if I had read this review, I may have saved some time and the company a warranty expense.

This is hands down the best thermostat on the market. Sleek design, easy to install, easy to sue.

This smart thermostat is only going to be advantageous if you use your heating and cooling a lot. The claim by Nest is that it only saves up to 15% ish of your AC bill. If you're like me who prefers to keep windows open as much as possible and use the AC as minimal as possible, then you wont find it to be super money saving. I only got it because I had an expiring BestBuy rewards certificate. That being said, I really like the convenience of turning on, off and adjust the settings from my phone and not having to walk to the thermostat every time.

Excellent thermostat. Simple to install and configure. It has reduced electricity consumption while maintaining comfort in the home.

This thermostat is very high end. It has many different preferences which can be adjusted to suit your needs. Every month, the thermostat emails you total energy saved during the month. The installation was quick and easy as well and very quick customer service response if you do face any problems. The thermostat comes with self tapping screws, screwdriver, and a white wall panel which gives the thermostat a slick and high-end look.

This thermostat allows you to control the temperature wherever and have the schedule you expect without a lot of adjusting. It’s a little pricey but if you are living the smart home life, it’s something to add.

This was very easy to install and works great! The app is very user friendly.

We initially bought a Nest for our lower level of the house and just returned to buy another one for the upstairs. It is great to be able to control the temperature when we are not at home. It insures that the house is comfortable when we arrive. By the same token, the home/away assist feature allows us to save heating and cooling costs while at work or running errands. I feel like the unit will pay for itself in no time!
