Very helpful for controlling your thermostat while outside of your house. Have come into many situations where I realized I would be gone longer than I expect from home. Was a simple fix by getting on the app and lowering the temperature or raising in the case of the ac. Also has many features that help you save on your energy bill.

I have been using nest thermostat for over two years now. Now I using two in my two-story house. Ease to install a configure with Alexa. Yes really you safe energy. If you activate location it will tend to the lowest level if you’re not home.

Looks great and keeps my heat balanced throughout the house.

Worth the investment. Me and my husband decided to install ourselves. After watching a few videos online and doing some research on what a heat pump was we were able to install 2 thermostats in our home. It learns your temperature changing habits and has lowered our power bill. App is easy to use.

I completed a lot of research before choosing my Nest Thermostat where the decision to make the Best Buy purchase was a winner! Installed and set one up both downstairs and upstairs in less than 40 minutes. They look great, fun to use, and saves $ right away! If you especially travel or have a second home then a NEST is definitely something to purchase.

Friends of mine had the gen 2 version. After checking out the reviews and specs (bugger screen was a large plus) I decided to purchase one coinciding with my new condo. Setup was easy as the directions were detailed and thankfully the wiring was color coded. I like that it reminds me to change the air filter on the unit ever few months. Ended up getting one for my parents home.

After buying the Nest protect carbon monoxide alarm (two of them) and then getting the Nest Outdoor cam and the regular Nest Cam I decided to go for the Thermostat and it is such a joy to be able to change temperature from my phone and the way the device "learns" and adjust the temperature for you when you are not home is such a plus. Also keep in mind that if you do have the co2 alarms from Nest and there is a co2 leak, the thermostat will shut off the gas line which is a plus and such an important feature for your security! Nothing to complain really, the screen is beautiful, it has so many sensors! it will light up when you pass by it, I mean perfect device! Don't be afraid if your house is old, mine is like 90 years old and I was still able to connect it and set it up in less than 30 minutes. Wonderful device! Highly recommended

I like the user friendly settings. The installation was very easy with step by step instructions. It automatically updates the firmware when it is available. Sometime I feel that the temperature sensor is off by a few degrees with the actual temperature. It is nice that I can control it by an app on the phone.

The installation was very easy and it only took about 10 minutes to wire it, attach it to the wall and go through the initial setup. By the 4th day the Nest learned our manual temperature adjustments from day to night and it started changing it by itself. Integrating it with Amazon Echo was very easy too and we love the ability to change the temperature by voice.

Genuinely easy to install, it helps that we have brand new HVAC systems too as there wasn't any wire matching complications. The setup was easy and done within minutes. You xxx an do everything from your phone and it even used your phone to know if you're home or not and, if you aren't home, it adjusts the temp to an energy saving, predetermined level. Very happy!

We just had a new heating/air conditioning system installed and thought why not purchase this thermostat with the hopes that it will also save us some money. It is very easy to use. Setting up the programs is very simple. The app makes it simple for anyone in the house to adjust. We are pleased with it. We wish we had purchased another for our other zone!

Was pretty easy to install and set up...it works great, wish it had remote temp sensor option though..links with my Harmony remote,ipad,htc phone, and my Lutron smart hub

I am not much of a handyman, but was able to install without issue. Using the app to install it was recommended to hire a Nest Pro for installation due to using natural gas with my forced air furnace. I watched a couple YouTube videos and continued with the install. The thermostat and Nest App are very useful.

This was fairly easy to install. I didn't do it personally but watched. Their customer support was excellent in determining if my system was compatible and emailed me the instructions which were very easy to understand. I actually spoke to a live person. How refreshing! Would definitely recommend this product as the app is so easy to use and am seeing less energy usage already.

Recently purchased two nest thermostats. Bestbuy installed as part on total tech package. Installation went well and units perform as advertised. My units both needed the “C” ( common) wire connected as the built in battery did not provide enough power.
