Is has been a very good investment since it has helped me keep my electricity bill low since it helps keep the large concealers inside my house.

Great thermostat. please hook up with 5 wire. even learns schedules wwith shift work. works well with google assistant

I would have given this 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that I had to search the web for troubleshooting info during hook-up. It was extremely cold when I installed this unit and turns out it can interfere with the A/C hook-up if extremely cold out. I ended up hooking up heat only for now and will have possibly have to add an additional wire to have A/C wired in during extremely cold months. NEST should add this info to their troubleshooting info. I like the wireless control both from my phone and our Google Home Mini.

Lots of capability, some complexity for a thermostat and now on the expensive end. The new Nest version may be a better choice, except at this time, the new one doesn't work with the remote located sensors. I like having the sensor to keep my 2nd floor temp where bedrooms are maintained at night and in the morning. Install is super easy and it looks good. It also is compatible with my utility companies energy saving programs.

We have had this over 6 months and we love it. It’s nice being able to change the temp when your bedrooms are upstairs and the thermostat is downstairs. Just go to the app and adjust to your hearts desire! Not too mention it does seem to be much more effeicient than the standard thermostat. All in all it was an excellent purchase.

If I get too hot (yeah, I'm at that time in my life), I don't need to get out of bed to turn down the heat in the winter, or turn on the AC in the summer. I just pick up my phone and control the thermostat from bed. Also, I can do it when I'm out, to make sure the house is at a good temperature when I get home.

This is a great first piece to your smart home and one that delivers its value over time as it learns ways to improve the efficiency of your heating and cooling. The ability to heat up the house on the way home is amazing in the winter. Just make sure it's compatible with your HVAC system before you purchase.

I installed this myself with no problems. Got it in winter so was set to heat only. No issues. Spring time running heat and cool mode is a bit harder to get used to the controls. My kids were wanting to set the heat lower and were setting ac to 65. Burrrrr. Much easier to control in one mode only. We are on budget bill so can't say if we've saved any money by switching. I like integration with alexa so you can change setting from bed instead of going downstairs. Also like the nest app to control it when not home.

The ability to control the Neat thermostat on the app is amazing. I go on as I leave the office and the house cools down while I commute so that when I get here it's perfect. Highly recommend

It's been a week with this thermostat and I must say it really gets the job done. Nest customer service is beyond impressive. They truly help with any questions about their products. The only thing that keeps this device from 5 stars is that you must manually tell the system to turn off because sometimes it cools the house when your not home. It takes about a week for the nest to pick up on your cooling tendencies and then develops a schedule for your for future uses. This is good but unless you manually tell it your away the nest is constantly working

Great product. Really comes in handy and is easy to use

I installed my thermostat and noticed my furnace was cycling often. I first thought it was an energy conservation feature in Nest. I then received an email from my thermostat telling me to check my furnace air filter. Sure enough it was dirty. Changed the filter and the furnace quit the short cycles. Its a HVAC tech as well as a thermostat.

CONS: Installation instructions are not the most helpful. However, I received help via telephone from a pro and it was easy to install. PROS: Easy to use. Works great. Looks Great. A MUST have.

So far so good. Had a strange error at the beginning but soon discovered that it was because we have not changed the filter. Once it was changed everything was good
