Not only is this thing cool, but it pays for itself, AND continues to save you money! My friend and I bought a Nest at the same time to see who can save more money. It started off as just fun, but now we are both seeing the full capabilities of it. It's also quite awesome coming home to whatever temperature you'd like!

Have had my Nest for nearly 4 months and it has already reduced my utility bills by an average of $25 or more. The mobile app and learning when people are home or away to adjust accordingly, has been fantastic. Installed in less than 10 minutes. And with the local utility company tossing in a $75 rebate, it's already paying for itself.

Easy to set up and use out of the box. Remember to take a photo of your wiring before you disconnect. Haven't played with the features much yet, but the smart learning seems to be keeping the house more comfortable than prior to installing.

Works great and is easy to read. There are advantages and disadvantages to it learning your schedule as every now and then I don’t leave the house as early as usual so the heat gets turned down before I get out of bed. Also when I come home late the heat will already be on, when I’d rather it not be running when I get home. I haven’t downloaded the app yet, so after doing that I will be able to control the thermostat with my phone which may help.

my bill went from 130 per month to 102.00 I am have over joyed and saying $$$ while being so! this is the greatest thing yet. It will reduce your energy consumption ASAP. Connects with my A/C to know I am not home and reduces temperate so its not over working an empty home. would buy anything NEST again

Bought this to upgrade my 60 year old thermostat in my house! Found out you do not need a C wire to use this one! Love that it tracks how much time it is heating the house and learns your routines so the house is warm when you get home! Great product!

The installation was easy. Setting up the account online was a snap as well. The device then lets you test all stages of your HVAC to ensure everything is configured properly. Online you can monitor what time of day the HVAC was actually on, and when the device went into away mode. No complaints whatsoever... I'd recommend this Nest to anyone.

I love the Google Nest Learning thermostat. I was able to set my preferred temps when I am home and when I leave for work. The eco feature keeps your place cool without consuming tons of energy.

I work a varying schedule so I’m waiting to see how it works with learning my schedule. I’ve noticed a few times that it will think I’m home when I’m not. That could be the days I’ve gotten home later than normal but I’m not sure yet. It was fairly easy to install (although I am pretty handy so that probably depends on you skill/comfort level). Easy to set the app up on my phone and glad I can control it when I’m not home. Waiting to see if there is any noticable energy savings.

I LOVE my nest! I can turn the temp up or down whenever if you forget before you leave or as your coming home. It let's you know if your eco friendly with the temp you have. My favorite I don't need to get up in the middle of the night if I'm hot or cold to adjust the temp I can do it from my phone.

This thermostat allows for better temperature control. Using it, I can receive better performance of my A/C and heat equipment, which in turn translates into energy cost savings. Further, I can control the temperature setting by means of my mobile phone, and see the operation history on my phone's screen. Very recommendable investment.

I love how it learns your behaviors and runs the most efficient way possible based upon when you’re home. I also love being able to use my phone to change the temp. It’s nice when you’re in bed and get hot to be able to roll over and adjust it with your phone rather than getting out of bed.

It is very awesome to control the home temperature from my phone and not have to go upstairs as both my knees are very bad.

I had my doubts about whether it would be worth the price. But to be able to control temperature remotely and make sure it is turned off when you arent home, this thermostat hits a home run. In addition, it learns your HVAC using trend and adjusts it accordingly. Very happy with the purchase. Thinking about getting more nest products.

I love the ability to check on the status of my thermostat when I'm gone and not only fixing it if my kids turn it up too high, but making the temperature where I need it as I come home at a different time than normal. Love the eco mode setting and it was really easy to set up and use!

This product has eliminated my energy conservation stress! It is so simple to install and program. Now I know that the house thermostat is set to the best level based on occupancy and typical work routines. Bonus is the ability to query it and control it with my voice from my Alexa and Google home speakers!
