However their app is having issues which wouldn’t let me finish the set up so we can access it on our phones. I have called tech support and it’s a known problem. That was about 3 weeks ago and no updates

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After having a 3M WiFi thermostat, an ecoBee 3 lite with 2 remote sensors, I have succumb to the Nest 3, and could not be happier. Ecobees servers were unavailable at times, and response to call for heat or cool took minutes vs sub-1 second response time from the Nest. Save yourself some aggravation, and purchase the Nest.

When contacted support not only I have to pay full price for a replacement, they did not guarantee that I would receive a new item. They will refund the money put on hold for the replacement. I choose this product thinking it had quality. At least my ecobee lasted a year. Is unacceptable that they don’t guarantee a replacement with a new item and on top of that that make you put on hold money for full price item. And off course I would have to be without AC until a received the replacement. Many inconvenience is causing me this product as customer

I can just use my phone to do so! I also love the fact that it has a schedule in setting temperatures. Controls are very easy to learn and build quality is solid.

A few months later I am impressed. Its all about the settings to make this work for you. Spend some time with it and make sure to turn some items on with your phone. My nest tracks me when I walk by it and uses my phone to know when I'm home. HUGE ENERGY SAVINGS
