I now have three Nest 3d G thermostats to give me full coverage. They work together like a charm. I especially enjoy not having to go to the third floor to adjust/monitor temp up there -- the app works great. Easy install and easy operation.

I can just use my phone to do so! I also love the fact that it has a schedule in setting temperatures. Controls are very easy to learn and build quality is solid.

The Nest keeps the temperature more balanced in our home because it has better thermostat sensor and uses intelligence to optimize energy consumption. Great product!!!

I had hoped to control via an average temperature (remote and main thermostat). It appears that it will control from main thermostat or remote thermostat(which can be scheduled) but not an average of both, simultaneously.

You are correct in how the Nest Temperature Sensors work in conjunction with the Nest Learning Thermostat. You can set a schedule for your thermostat to utilize different sensors at different times of the day. Although you can attach up to 6 sensors per thermostat, the thermostat can only use one sensor at a time. With Nest Temperature Sensors, you have the flexibility to choose which room in your house is the most important or set a schedule for your thermostat to use different sensors at different times. You can select which temperature sensor to use in the Morning, Midday, Evening, and Night periods for each thermostat. However, please note that setting different rooms to different temperatures simultaneously would require a zoned system or special vents installed in your home.

make sure unplug your AC before install

I have to run to hardware store to get 3a fuse to replace the one that I burned when I install. really like this controler, everyone should get one in your home. so convenience to remote control via smartphone. recommend
