Love the features to adjust temperature when you're gone. Was if use we app and voice controls. Does provide advanced features like keep fan running, add additional temp sensors and more.

The app provides remote access and control. In addition, the Away Assist turns the thermostats off automatically when we are not home, to provide even more energy savings. Should've done this sooner!

App problems

However their app is having issues which wouldn’t let me finish the set up so we can access it on our phones. I have called tech support and it’s a known problem. That was about 3 weeks ago and no updates

It’s hard for us to use the away from home feature because we have dogs so the air has to stay on. It is a great feature if you don’t have pets though. I love that I can see the temperature of my house and turn the air on if needed even while being away.

Love the nest smart home products. We have multiple products and they have all work as expected and flawlessly for two years now. This was a Christmas gift for my daughter and SIL so they can enjoy the energy savings as well.
