They work well together and using the app I can adjust as needed and see my energy use. Super easy to install

Great Device

The Nest allows me to adjust the temperature when I'm away and program times. I even for a rebate from the electric company for buying one.

It was not difficult to install but the programming confused me. Pay the extra and get someone to do it for you and explain how to use it from there.

Your Nest Thermostat has many settings to help you feel comfortable in your home. Hold temperature can maintain the current temperature or any of your presets. You can also set temperatures with a swipe of your thermostat’s touch bar. Nest Thermostats don’t have a touch screen. You can use the touch bar on the right side to control your thermostat. Swipe up to raise the temperature, swipe down to lower it, and tap to confirm. The display will show you how many minutes until your desired temperature is reached. Love the Learning Smart Thermostat

I also enjoy that I can control the temperature from an app on my phone. Highly convenient!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.With the available ComEd ($100) and Nicor ($50) rebates this thermostat is not much more expensive than a standard programmable thermostat. It was simple to install and easy to program. Unfortunately we are in between seasons here in Illinois so I can't attest to the actual cost savings of the learning features just yet.
