Perfect Thermostat

A range issue or wireless interference can cause your thermostat to disconnect from your Wi-Fi. Sometimes it may pass the connection test during setup, but will struggle to stay connected if it’s just a bit too far away. You may also check for objects such as mirrors and refrigerators between the thermostat and your router as these items could block the connection. Also, connectivity issues may occur when your system wires can't deliver enough power to keep the thermostats charged up. The thermostat uses the voltage from your system’s wires to keep its internal battery charged, so if the power from your system is insufficient, the thermostat will run on battery for a while but will turn off features like Wi-Fi to preserve battery life before it must turn off completely.

I use the heat/cool mode so there's a range so it decides if it's too cold or too hot. Plus, I'm saving money comparing to my old programmable thermostat.

I control my thermostat from the comfort of my bed. However the learning mode is what I don't like and there is no way to disable it from the App. It's not accurate and each day is different, how the so called smart thermostat can know what temperature it should set only based on my previous selections.

Get rebates through your utility companies, and it may be close to free. Plus, having the convenience of changing your thermostat from outside the house doesn't hurt.

You can see the history of use of your AC system and then change the temperature to minimize use of the AC. Would definitly recommend!

I began to purchase LED light bulbs as a start, new energy efficient appliances, and then September 2015 the Nest 3rd Generation was released which caught my attention. I asked my father in-law who had the Nest 2nd Generation for information and he had nothing negative to say about it so I was sold. After comparing it to other competitors I was hooked on this one due to the ease of installation, good reviews, and $100 electric company rebate (ask your local energy company).

My old one i can switch summer or winter and it remembers my temps

It is lockable so kids can't mess with it and i can monitor the house when I go on vacation. I love the heat and cool option so I don't need to remember to turn it from Heat to Cool.
