The thermostat works with 95% of 24V heating and cooling systems, including gas, electric, forced air, heat pump, radiant, oil, hot water, solar, and geothermal.

The only thing I don't like about it, is that it appears there is not a way to hold a temperature. It changes on it's own. It is probably to keep our bill lower, but sometimes we want to be able to leave it on one temperature.
