Nest thermostats would generally work without a common wire. However, there are some systems that would require a C wire or Nest Power Connector. Nest thermostats are designed to use very little power, and in many cases they can use your system’s heating and cooling wires to get enough consistent power. But sometimes, you may need to connect a common wire (C wire) or power accessory, like the Nest Power Connector, to make your system compatible. It also lower temp when away saving energy bills, i recommend this product to everyone who is getting large energy bills.

App setup and configuration is straightforward. I would give this product five stars if it is compatible with Apple's HomeKit.

I will come in to a different temperature then what i originally set out for. It will save you money, and im sure its partially my lack of app knowledge. But i find myself checking on it often.

I can just say "Hey Google, set the AC to 76", and she sets away. My only gripe is that the historical data for power usage is seemingly limited to a 9- to 11-day window.

Well, it runs more than the Honeywell I had before and it's always hot in my house. Thinking about putting the old one back to have a cool home again.

I use with baseboard heaters in a basement and it saves a ton on heating cost. Love the ability to turn the heat on when I leave from work and walk in to a warm home.
