Incompatible with system and poor support

The first person I spoke to asked what my heating and cooling systems were and I told him, giving him exact model numbers. Then we spent several hours trying to troubleshoot before I got disconnected. After reconnecting I had to start all over again and once again got disconnected a couple hours in. The problem is my heating and cooling system are separate. I have an older gas fired forced hot water system. A few years ago I had central AC installed with a blower. Every time I hooked up the Nest my AC kicked on and wouldn't stop. I even tried the C terminal (common) and it still wouldn't work correctly. Finally the third person I spoke to told me my blower wasn't compatible and it was a known issue. I could've saved 6 hours of my day if the first tech would've told me that. Instead I wasted all that time on a fruitless effort trying to make it work. My blower is Goodman AVPTCXX14XX. The tech told me they've discovered problems with AVPTC and MBVC blowers. And this is NOT listed in their incompatible systems page which is here: https://nest.com/support/article/Incompatible-systems Double check on nest.com and talk to a chat person before buying this.

You may want to check for any wireless interference that can affect the connectivity of your thermostat. We also recommend checking your Wi-Fi network to see if your bandwidth is congested, which may happen if you have too many devices connected on the same bandwidth or if your network package is not enough to handle the data traffic on the network. If your other thermostat is mounted too far from your Wi-Fi router, you may need to extend your Wi-Fi network’s range using an extender, boosters or additional Wi-Fi access points.

Even after adjusting all the settings it continues to change the temperature without notice. I still kept it to impress all my friends with my boujie thermostat.

I set the heating to 67 degrees, it won’t turn on until 65 degrees (its freaking cold) then when it finally turns on it heats to 69 degrees (Waaay too freaking hot to sleep it wakes us up) so I’m constantly turning the temperature up and down when it’s supposed to be doing it for you. It sucks dont buy it, I’ve had this too long to return it. Now I’m stuck with this expensive p0s thermostat.
