I love the nest thermostats. Not only do they look elegant but they are also quite easy to install. I have 5 of them throughout my home--a combination of 3rd gen stainless steel and the Nest e version. All work perfectly, plus I can control them by Amazon Alexa or my iPhone.

I had trouble at first getting the device to connect to the nest application. other than that, installation was pretty easy and it is function pretty well. Very clean design and feels like great quality as well.

We switched out a basic thermostat for the Nest Learning. It really is smart. We set up our home and away schedule - easy to do. Then the thermostat learned our schedule and made adjustments to the schedule we set up. We love that we can change the settings from our phones - put it on ECO to save energy or take off of ECO as we near home (no more walking into a cold home). Or we go out for a walk and the Nest knows we are gone and switches to ECO to save us money. Also, the settings are so easy to see - the current temp is in big numbers no more magnifying glass to read the thermostat.

This thing is wonderful!!! It's something that you never knew you needed until you have it! I love adjusting the temperature in the house from my bed on my phone and iPad. I also love the auto away feature to save you money on electric! Plus, this thing looks so futuristic and cool on any wall!

Easy to install, and works hella good! Nice little modern touch to the interior space with the digital screen.

There has been a lot of engineering behind this thermostat. It has saved me 30% on my electric bill. It can learn from your habits by detecting when you are home or away to adjust the temp accordingly. You can manually set the temps and times of usage on a daily schedule with the free nest app. The best features in my opinion are the advantages of controlling your homes environment even when away from home and if you have it paired with the nest smoke detectors it will shut down your unit if smoke is detected to help prevent a fire. You can acknowledge your smoke alarm with the nest app and your unit will restart. Easy installation just make reference of where the wires are connected on your old thermostat and follow the instructions. It paid for itself in 4 month's.

Must have! Easy to install, set up and use. My energy usage has already decreased. Not only that, it looks great and acts as a nightlight when it senses my motion as i'm heading downstairs to feed my cats in the middle of the night,

I did need help getting this thermostat installed. However, it is easy to use. I like that it can connect to your phone allowing you to remotely turn on your thermostat. This is especially helpful on these recent hot summer days to come back to a cool house. Alternatively, you can set a scheduled timer for the thermostat too.

It was super easy to replace our old Honeywell programmable thermostat with the nest. The whole thing took about 30 minutes to install and then another 10 minutes to connect with the app. Google even provides a really nice screw driver with assorted tips, so you might not even need any additional tools. Also included is a rectangular wall plate to help cover up larger holes left by your old thermostat, but you can also install without the plate for a cleaner look. The "learning" part is nice, but really, it's just really nice to be able to turn on the AC or heat before we get home or from bed. If you have a Google Home device, you can also tell Google to turn on the AC/heat for you.

We recently purchased and installed the NEST. It is very attractive and awesome. I love that you can control the temperature from anywhere. It teaches it self to lower the temp when you are not home. It was very easy to install.

I think this is great. If I'm chilly or hot at night I can just pick my phone up from my bed stand and change the temperature in my home. When I'm out of town and I know I don't need the heat on 69 degrees, I can open the app up and lower the temperature until I'm headed home. I needed to buy a thermostat because my previous one wasn't programmable and my heating bills were getting a bit crazy. I thought I'd get something fun for a few extra bucks and we just bought our house, so I am planning on staying here for a while. I think this will have to save us money in the long run, and now I'm actually excited to see my bill. I had a programmable thermostat at my old home, but the fact that this connects to your phone is so much easier and more fun. You can probably save close to as much money with a cheaper thermostat, but you can also make calls with a flip phone and watch football on a 12'' screen. That's like sucking eggs and howling at the moon.

Great works fine. Easy to install. Easy to configure

Installation was made super-easy with video and included tools (although it seemed wasteful to include a tool in each package for people like me who bought multiple units but only needed one tool). Set up was also easy, and the Nests look fantastic and work ok overall (more on where they fall short below). Small issue is the app (for remote control) could be more intuitive. Larger issue is that when I set all thermostats to "Away" (with a single tap in the app, which is great) they do not stay set to away for some reason... in four days of being away on vacation, I've gone into the app six time to confirm that the thermostats were still set to Away, and four times they were back on their regular schedule heating the house. So I had to again manually set to Away 4 times. Not only is this gitch annoying (because part of the proposition of having these is peace of mind, not having to think about them or do things manually) but they are not saving me money if they're running the heat to the same temps as if we were home. My old programmable were a pain to manually set when we were going on vacation (and then to reset to regular programs when we got home) but at least they worked properly. Nests are cool, but so far they have not been as set-it-and-forget-it as I was led to believe.

The nest 3 smart thermostat was a great investment. product works as advertised And maintains a comfortable temperature in my house without me having to do any adjustments with the Eco mode set. Installation was very simple all you need is the one tool provided.

The 3rd generation of Nest is an outstanding product. My primary reason for wanting the Nest was to meet my needs of a thermostat that I could control remotely. I travel almost every weekend, and wanted to be able to set the thermostat to a very energy efficient setting when gone for a few days, but also wanted to return the setting to my comfort zone ahead of me arriving home. This product certainly meets those needs. The initial learning period required a bit of work, until Nest learned my patterns of when I'm home, at work, etc. After two weeks, everything was perfect. I also have Xfinity Home Security/Automation, which this now seamlessly syncs with. When I arm the system, Nest automatically goes into the "Away" state, and restores itself to "Home" when the system is disarmed. The install took less than 5 minutes, and comes with everything needed, down to the screwdriver. Setup to wifi and the the app took another 5 minutes, tops. Overall, this is a great product.

Easy to install! Works great. I can control from my phone easily. I would suggest buying the Google Thermostat Sensors if you have a 2 story house.

Installed this nest thermostat on my new house, works perfect, once i got my internet hooked up, it was easy to set up along with setting up the app. i can now control the thermostat from anywhere, works as advertised! Great product

This was my fourth Nest Thermostat. One for my primary home and three for a second home. I find them incredibly easy to install and set up. It is very convenient to be able to control the thermostat remotely, be it from my bed or across the country.

Replaced what seemed like an ancient thermostat with insanely complicated controls and no way to set auto cool and heat together. This Nest unit has it all: tons of settings/customization and flexibility, wi-fi to change your temps from your bed or couch because you're as lazy as I am, and it even looks cool! Installation was SUPER easy and fast, and customer service was excellent! I contacted them with a couple of pre-installation questions, and actual human beings helped me out right away! I had to make sure I was still on Earth after that call, or at least not dreaming! Anyway, just buy it, it's awesome and way better than your old one without a doubt. Just check for compatibility first, their online tool can help you with that, so that you don't buy one and then complain that it doesn't work with your system, like other people who don't do their homework. ;)

Love the nest thermostat! Wifi is awesome. You can change your temp when your away from home. You get monthly power usage and other info. You can really fine tune the temperature settings and you can have your unit learn your patterns so it will automatically adjust throughout the day.
