The convenience alone is great, but it knows when I'm home and sets the temp to my liking without me having to do anything. It is saving me money.

Replaced my second generation with this new third generation model and it has been a big improvement! Much bigger and brighter screen and the far-sight works great.

Works great I had one downstairs and finally got nine for upstairs. So glad no need toneunnupstairs to adjust the temperature.

Works well didn’t learn as quickly as I was told but I think now it’s figuring things out I like that it connects with my Alexa

I can't say yet that I've noticed any change in my total A/C usage as the energy bill is pretty much the same, but I like that I can at least see the history of my A/C usage, when it has been running and for how long. Controlling it from my phone while away is a plus.

This thing is nice and very easy to set up and get going. Once it is deployed it does all the work for you and saves you money every month.

We are enjoying our more accessible and simple thermostat. The mobile apps are a great feature. The only issue was the installer of our heat/cooling system did not follow standard wiring colors, so an electrician friend helped me figure out the layout, For most, this would not be a problem and was no fault of Nest. Having the display light up when approaching is another great feature--our last thermostat was extremely hard to read at night. Programming the Nest took less than 5 minutes. Enjoying it,

This is a nice thermostat, but so far it's not mind blowing enough to justify the expense. Might want to check your local utility companies; some offer pretty hefty rebates.

Makes thermostat use easy with app on phone and allows for changing when not at home. Also adjusts by itself to your schedule.

We wanted to be able to control our AZ home's thermostat from Iowa and we can with our iPhone app. It has been a learning curve but we are very happy with it.

Very easy to install and program. You must have a @gmail.com address for the app which is my only complaint.
