Posted .Hey there, Brian. Thanks for your feedback. The Nest Learning Thermostat changes the temperature automatically due to some factors like schedule, learned habits (auto schedule), and Home/Away Assist which makes your thermostat go to ECO mode. Thankfully, you have an option to use it as a traditional programmable thermostat, and you can manually set the temperature and create your schedules for the thermostat to follow. You can turn off the Auto Schedule feature, disable the Home/Assist, and clear the existing schedules by selecting Settings > Reset > Schedule > Reset. I am still learning all of the features, but wish that it had an alert to my phone for high humidity in the house. (like when a humidistat takes over the AC system so that mold would not grow..)
