thermostat works great and the looks is futuristic

Best thermostat ever. I had one before but mom dropped it so I needed to get get another one.

This is an excellent product. I have no idea how it compares to the 1st and 2nd gen, but it is excellent.

Roughly 10 years ago I put in a very advanced Honeywell system and Steam Humidification system. When Nest came out, i was very enthusiastic, but then discovered that it couldn't control my humidifier. So I have been waiting. With the recent round of rebates I decided to try - and yes indeed it does control my Humidifier. But now it is wait and see. I can't specify an actual percentage for the humidity on the granularity that I previously could. I don't see an option for Frost control - where it will adjust humidification based on outside temperature. The previous system also had three sensors in the house, whereas the Nest relies on itself and its Cloud data. I like the integration with my other devices and trust that it is using the data from all 9 Nest Smoke Detectors to really confirm when we are home and when we are out - but time will tell. Hoping.

Great thermostat that learns as you go. The app on the phone basically matches what you see on the screen of the thermostat making it very easy to use.

Install was about 30 min- device is very user friendly. I love that I can adjust it from my phone & that I can see my various Nest Devices on the same app.

Install was super easy. The setting up once installed is a different story. I’m still learning how to get the most out of it. The app is nice but the Away feature doesn’t always seem to work. I’ll update this review once my new energy bill arrives.

This is my second Nest and it is a great product. Good app as well that allows me to control both of them.

One of the easiest and best upgrades you can do for your home. The install was super easy and running through the app is awesome.

I would not get any other Wi-Fi thermostat as this one is just so simple.

Excellent Smart Thermostat. It makes me save money, and It makes easier the sync temperature of my house.

We had to replace our central AC in the Central Valley of CA. I wanted to upgrade to a smart thermostat to help track my electricity usage as well as make my usage as efficient as possible. The Nest does both!! And on top of that, it was amazingly easy to install. The Nest website has great instructions and instructional videos. YouTube does as well, but the Nest site was more than sufficient for me. The monthly energy usage reports are great!
