is it smart thermostat? not really

So far the routine are good but if you change your routine. the thermostat have to be adjust by you. For example it use cell phone to track your location. So when we take off, it will go to eco mode but when you arrive it didn't start warming up the house until you inside the house. sometimes you inside the house, it will not worm up in the morning until you walk fast the thermostat or stay at eco mode. If you have the day off and it doesn't know you are home i'm in different room. So far we just let it learn and learn and learn. Did we program it wrong? We feel that honeywell t6 works better and track us better, warm the house before we arrive home, give us monthly track of electric usage.
