We love NEST Thermostrats

When i opened it to replace it I noticed the original battery leaked and messed up the board. Supposedly that was a lithium battery and should not have leaked. Weird. I would not recommend this thermostat though if you have an iPhone and Apple watch. Initially Google had an app for the watch which they discontinued.

I've used Ecobee for about 5 years and have never liked how the temp has to be changed by dragging your finger up or down. The Nest is so much easier as you just turn the dial on the unit, or click the up and down arrows on the app. I haven't used the programming yet as I want to see how long it takes to 'learn' my schedule.
