I was led to believe that its effectiveness would extend beyond the house. Crew who installed it found it was a little difficult to get it paired to the phone. All is well that ended well.

I had to reconnect my "C" wire on my unit because it was showing that it did not have enough power to the other cables/they were not connecting. Called NEST Customer Support and they were no help. So I looked online for hours and finally came across some dude who gave me the idea.

I enjoy being able to control it from my ECHO device AND from my phone when away from home. Great features and being able to see how long it runs on a daily basis is also great. Lots of features and better than any other thermostats I have seen.
