This is the best new gadget I've added to my new house !

This is my second nest thermostat. We have multiple HVAC units so I purchased the one to see if the benefits are worth the money and it really is. So I went back and purchased to other. We have saved money on our utility bills. When we leave the house it automatically goes into eco mode. The app is very easy to use.

Purchased a new furnace and air unit and this purchase made sense at the time. It does the job it's supposed to do but getting ALL the features to work properly is another thing all together. The "Smart" and "Learning" aspects have been suspect. Granted, over the past three months I have been on an unstable schedule so it doesn't know what to do. I have it programmed by time so that does it's job. Google voice is where my problems start and end. They don't seem to speak the same language from time to time. I'll have Google tell me it can't adjust my thermostat, because "it is in eco mode", as it's changing my thermostat. Which just tells me Google doesn't know what it's doing. Then there is coming home to a very cold house because the preheating isn't working. Supposed to work off my location and after telling Google we are heading home, it's supposed to up the heat when we are about 15 minutes away. Nope. So I scheduled the stat to do it automatically. No different than my old programable stat. For the price I paid I expected more. I'll go back to fiddling with it to make sure I'm not the dumb one in the equation. I also go back to a normal schedule so maybe things will settle down.

Bought this smart thermostat to replace my manual thermostat. This is an awesome thermostat to have; it will automatically learn your habits and program itself accordingly. It can be set using many smart devices whether at home or around the world.

It works well and saves money and electric/gas bill.

We purchased the Nest and it has been very helpful in helping us to control heat costs when we are away from home. It is also nice to have a weather display that shows what it's like outside. With a simple prompt like 'Okay Google, I'm Cold!' the Google Home will let the Nest know to bump up the heat to 70 degrees. Very Handy!

I love this thermostat, the only suggestion I have is to make sure you have a constant power source. If not, it will be damaged. Other than that, it’s really useful being able to adjust the settings through the app without having to physically adjust the thermostat.

Electric bill was getting crazy with the old thermostat so I decided to give the nest a try based on the reviews and a friends recommendation. This is the best thing since sliced bread! My electric bill has changed significantly despite the Texas heat still being ever present. It is pricey, but it's paid for itself in two months!

Love the Nest and has been a great tool to have better control over Heating/AC plus being more eco friendly. Definitely recommend. Only issue is that I wish Alexa could turn on just the fan rather than heat/cool. Can't fault Nest per se though.

What did I do before this? It was easy to install and even easier to manage in the app. I absolutely love this product and would purchase it for every home I own.
